I'm a firm believer in #conregret - those moments where you don't do something then look back and say 'damnit' (Not meeting Gillian Anderson and Karl Urban being two of those for me) and now try and do as much as I can when I can so I don't end up with a case of the 'what if's'. Everyone is different though so do what is comfortable for yourself. Great to hear that you are coming though. If you're down for the Saturday, then don't forget the meet up in the evening :) That is true Pen, the only hesitation is I don't really like pictures of myself and never put them up so unless it's someone or something really special (or included in the ticket price ) I don't usually go for them. Also when I get hot I look like a blooming strawberry and it comes out in the pictures! That's understandable. I know the feeling about being hot, it really stood out in my picture with Neve last year. As I say, if you feeling like its really something you want, then go for it I'm sure you'll make sure to be early in the queue for his auto in any case! Just a cool as a frozen cucumber guy who plays genuinely perfect parts (even if the films may not be perfect). Just such a watchable guy, hard not to sit back and enjoy him in any film he pops up in. Dent_1 Posted April 30, 2016 Share Posted April 30, 2016 FANTASTIC announcement. Mads was the first guest I EVER met at a Convention back at Collectormania Midlands (Coventry) back in 2008. I thought he was pleasant at the time but looking back now I have been to many more shows since, I think I can safely say that he was probably the nicest and most humble celebrity I have met. He's worth it at £40, but what a bargain he was at £15. He wasn't very busy at all, I think partly due to the location and he was only really know in the UK for Casino Royale at this point, I told him I thought he was one of the very best Bond villains and he seemed to take the compliment very sincerely and said, "I wish you'd tell everybody else" because he was quiet. Again the queue for his photos was not very big, only 10 people(!) and he was warm and friendly and in the photo he looked genuinely happy to be there, moreso than some guests anyway! He took multiples with everyone as well. I think that was his second con with Showmasters (his first being at LFCC) the year. I think he'll be in for a shocker this year now that he has Bond, Hannibal and... Star Wars fans attend to! 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
