My name's Adam, I'm 19, and I'm from good old Manchester.

 

Major fan of KISS, 70's & 80's rock n' roll (especially hair/glam metal/rock), The A-Team and the Marvel Superhero Universe.

 

Only got into conventions last year (which is lame, I know) and only been to one event ('Mania G-MEX) after seeing Dirk Benedict on T.V sayin' that he was gonna be there.

Hi Hi!

 

I'm Rach, 26, but most peeps know me as Arkayen. I'm a cosplayers, scifi, anime and movie nut and a girl gamer.

 

This was my first time attending the LFCC and was one of the Masquerade judges and a cosplay adviser. On the Saturday I was dressed as the White Rabbit and the Sunday as Star Fox plus had my Yoshi costume on display too on the Cosplay desk. I've won a few awards for my costumes, but still make them for the laughs ^^ I tend to make unusual stuff and try to add new spins on others. I'm not your stick thin Yuna/Lara type cosplayer but dont try to be I like pocky too much for my own good

 

I am currently living in Norfolk near Great Yarmouth and am a Recovery Coordinator for the RAC, AA, GreenFlag and Police. I hate my job like 99.9% of other people and want to become a costume designer in the near future :D

 

I am a member of the Norwich Star Wars club and DDR:UK.

I'm a regular these days at Collectormania MK, GMex (as I'm from Manchester) and I've just been to my first LFACC.

 

I love sci fi mainly Star Wars but I also like Farscape, Star Trek, Battlestar Gallactica, Lost etc.

Hi all. Thought i would introduce myself, as i never really did before, even tho i registered in 2003!!!! God, doesnt time fly!

 

My name is Lee, i got 2 kids, Nathan and Harry, 8 and 5. I lurrrve Science fiction films, faves being Starwars, Bladerunner (hence the name), in fact anything that revolves around spacey alien things :) I have ben pretty much off the scene for quite a while, as my life seemed to get taken over by playing Games over the internet, mainly Eve online. I really need to find more things to do with my life as its pretty crap atm. So im gonna try and make more of an effort to go along to the collectormania events in mk. I have been to one or 2 with my missus (Vamps!) but she has left now, so its just gonna be me and the kids now. My sis is Rain (god help me!), so hopefully she can help me jump any queues (joke ) Once i start getting a bit more active on forums i wouldnt mind maybe coming along to a meetup in mk, i quite fancy an excuse for a drink :)

 

Damn, im sorry its taken nearly 4 years to introduce myself! but some of you i have met before anyway, and ive gotta start socialising more now or i'm just gonna turn into a boring old fart with nothing to do other than sit at my computer playing games for the rest of my life!

 

Now im gonna start reading all the posts and catching up with whats what, should keep me busy at work for the next few weeks :)

Hey guys, [insert witty yet humble introduction here] - never really know what to say.

 

I'm like all you guys really huge sci-fi and cult film and television fan.

 

My passion is in the same place as most you guys tho my ambitions may be slightly diffrent - I'm a scriptwritter and director - my ultimate ambition is to have my own tv serise on the air. I have several in the writting stages with a tiny fan following (yup 16 whole people lol) gotta start somewhere. I'm currently working on my own project that im writting to my next to £0.00 budget - that i'll direct, act in, partialy film and edit myself - yup i'm a whore of all trades. but i love it so couldn't be happier. still at uni - hoping to bump up my cv outside my uni work.

 

biggest fanboyism would have to be JossVerse - specialy Firefly (yup im one of those). most recent fanboyism is deffinitly Heroes been tracking it since the first episode aired in the US. I have only been to the last two events with Showmaster, Collectormania MK and London film and Comic Con but your likley to see alot more of me in the future, i will be at the next MK Collectormania and deffo checking out Eclipse, possibly Lockedown - see how the funds hold up.

 

Love to have a blast at these things- its as much about the attendee's as the guests for me. always welcome to make new freinds and flirt with hot guys.

Well ive just realised ive never introduced myself on here before so here i am! My name is Lucy and im 32, married with 2 kiddies! We live in Essex!

In my other life tho ive been going to Collectormania since C4 with my sister whos been to them all, and a few LFCCs too!

My main interests being Buffy and Angel but i now seem to be getting my Lost book signed too? I like loads of other shows too tho like 24, Supernatural, Bones, Smallville and of course Lost! Ive just started watching heroes too! We try and meet most people from these shows but also LOTRs too!

 

I love going to Collectormania, not only for the great guests but the atmosphere too, everyone is friendly and lets face it all there for the same reason!?
