MarshallMathers 5
I just had my friend cancel on me at the last second, so I'm going tomorrow on my own :/ Anyone been to events like this on their own? If so, what's it like?
DracoMalfoy 9
I'll be on my lonesome too
Wrong Name 4,232
Much easier by myself! I have so much to do that it's better without my mate who comes with me and I get more done. (If you read this dude, you know it's true!) Edited July 17, 2015 by Wrong Name

mckee74 145
I go to events like this on my own. Find it easy to meet the guests I want to see as I don't have to worry about someone queuing up for something they have no interest in. Would be nice to have someone with me to be my official photographer though!
TheHorrorFreak 33
It's much easier going alone in my opinion. It's very easy to get lost so you'd probably spend more time looking for your mate rather than enjoying yourself haha
danalar 11
I'm going alone. Admittedly I'm nervous, but I'm sure I'll meet plenty of new people who have the same interests as I do! (I think that adds to the fun!)
MarshallMathers 5
Woo! So im not the only one I hope I meet you guys! I'll probably be the only guy wearing a Brock Lesnar shirt lol
discodiva 147
Much easier by myself! I have so much to do that it's better without my mate who comes with me and I get more done. (If you read this dude, you know it's true!) I'm exactly the same...I jump with joy when Hubby says he doesn't want to come.. I MUCH prefer to do everything on my own, on my own terms and interact with whom I choose to
enchantedsocks 5
I'm on my own too. Rather like it that way. Found it rather nice today- got to browse a few stalls, get an autograph or two, watch some talks and all at my own pace.

Firecracker 97
I usually go with my friend, but we're apart enough with photos. I tend to stay with her while she's queueing for photos/autos (if I'm not busy) just so we see more of each other - and then I duck out as she goes into the photo. Today I was with a different friend, who was doing her first convention. We were apart a bit, but mostly together. Both are nice - it's good to have someone to chat to while you wait, but time alone is good too :)
btvsfan 19
I'll be alone today too - always make me anxious!!!
BeardedWonder91 19
Was alone yesterday! Carving through the crowds is way easier!
fastandloud 67
Much better going as a lone ranger. Everything is much easier.
Zonky 207
Gone it alone again this year, its absolutely fine, going to sound so antisocial but I quite like being alone I get to do so much more and know when I'm tired and need to stop etc..... Currently sitting alone drinking into a pint of cidre in my hotel mind you

Aearin 65
Went with a friend but I was just saying it would be not much different on my own. Both want to see different guests etc, not much chance for chatting when your determined to get somewhere

Tony1975 602
I went with my mate yesterday but it wasn't much different to when I went on my own to Earls Court last year. With how busy it is and us wanting to do different things we soon went our separate ways and met back up when we were ready to go.
stormtrooper1976 4
I enjoy going on my own because I can do what I want and see who I want (actors etc) find it easyer and can get a lot more done and interact with the cosplayers and stall holders...
