  1. I think it's pathetic how rude some people are. If you don't like the line-up, simply don't buy a ticket. That's the thing about conventions - you never know who's going to appear. That's what makes them great though. I'm skipping this year's LFCC, because I have no interest in the guest, but I don't find it necessary to be rude about it. I loved last year and I will be back in the future. I feel bad for people who are excited about the guests when trolls give them crap for being happy. That's so selfish. Seriously, it's a convention. It's not about all about you, so have some respect and be greatful that LFCC exists at all.
  2. Some horror guest would be awesome. We got a number of fantastic horror guests last year so I'm really hoping we at least get a couple in 2016.
  3. I don't think that's a problem. There are so many amazing guests that we can still get. Just because you won't get to see someone next year doesn't mean they won't make an appearance in the future. People are expecting too much. We can't possibly have every actor on earth make an appearance every year. Just be patient and hopefully one day you'll get to meet your favourites. The fact that both events are happening at the same time is irrelevant. They're both very different so I don't get why people are getting worried.
  4. After this year's LFCC everything is possible. I would kill for some Buffy guests, especially Alyson Hannigan, any horror guests and some Sucker Punch guests such as Emily Browning or Jena Malone.
  5. I would love to attend this year but at the moment I simply can't buy a ticket. The lack of updates and the current lineup are my main two issues. I'm hoping that we get some updates soon as with LFCC being over they're surely going to focus on all the other upcoming events such as this one. I'm not giving up hope! After attending this year's LFCC, I know that they are capable of pulling off an awesome event!
  6. She was one of the nicest guests this year. Took her time with everyone and you could tell that she was having fun. I had a long chat with her on Friday when she wasn't too busy.
  7. Jennifer Rubin as she was one of the nicest people I've ever met. I'd love to see guest like Sigourney Weaver again but the odds of her coming back any time soon are pretty low.
  8. Luke's a legend!!! He did an amazing job on the Sigourney and Robert Englund shoots.
  9. As a smoker, I would never smoke while in the queue. I did smoke outside the venue later on it the day though. I don't blow my smoke in people's faces but I can see how it could annoy some people.
  10. I thought I was the only one haha It sucks being back at work. The LFCC experience was so surreal. It almost feels like a dream. People are getting sick at this point of me constantly talking about Sigourney Weaver haha I loved it so much that I've decided to go to the winter con as well.
  11. I gave some guy in the Colette Hiller queue my Sigourney Weaver VQ ticket. He had one that was over 300 and mine was 110 or something like that. People were extemely nice and friendly throughout the weekend and that's what made it so awesome for me.
  12. Jennifer Rubin was definitely the best. She took her time with everyone and was very chatty. Kelly Hu was also great. I got her to sign my limited edition steelbook of Mortal Kombat X since she's the voice of D'Vorah and she told me a really cool story about working on the game. Colette Hiller was also extremely friendly.
  13. I hate articles like this one. I work very hard for what I've got. We're not asking anyone for money so that we can attend these events. What I spend my money on is nobody's business. It's not even about the money for me, it's about the atmosphere and the experiance itself that is way more important to me than a piece of paper. I bet the person who wrote that piece of crap goes on expensive holidays at least once a year yet no one is judging them for that. People are willing to pay so who cares haha It was an amazing experiance that some irrelevant 'journalists' doesn't even understand.
  14. Day 2 was a success. Meeting Sigourney was probably the highlight of my year. The people there were amazing and the atmosphere was great. It was a bit crowded and I wish less tickets were sold but it's all part of the experiance I guess. Once you meet the guests all the bad things simply don't matter any more haha the gold pass really helped with the Sogourney shooy today, we even got booed by everyone else when we got called haha I had to miss 2 photoshoots though, which I'm not to happy about. I don't even care about the money it just sucks that I didn't get the pictures. The staff were rather nice but some had no idea what was going on. Can't wait till tomorrow now. Can't believe the weekend is almost over.
  15. Is this still happening? Are people welcome to come? :)
  16. It's ridiculous. If you want to get in first get there earlier. I've got a gold pass but I still came very early. I saw a bunch of people casually pushing in when they thought nobody was looking.
  17. It's much easier going alone in my opinion. It's very easy to get lost so you'd probably spend more time looking for your mate rather than enjoying yourself haha
  18. It was busy, amazing, confusing, exciting and surreal all at the same time. I have no idea how I'm going to get through tomorrow haha It was really boiling inside the venue at times and things seemed a little disorganised but I don't really care. I got to meet everyone I've planned for today so it's all good. It still hasn't hit me that I've meet people that I've admired for years.
  19. Not only was I told to go away after waiting for Robert Englund's autograph for over one hour but I had to wait another hour when I came back later. I'm not a difficult person and I don't usually complain but come on. I have both a Robert Englund Diamond Pass and a Gold Pass. The one thing I will say is that my gold pass was really useful when it came to photo shoots today.
  20. I woke up at 5am and now I've got nothing to do. Even though I've got a gold pass I might go early and just hang out outside the venue haha Way too excited.
  21. You're not alone man. I'm sat in my hotel room, going over the schedules and freaking out a little. I'm going to meet people that I've admired for years and it's extremely exciting but at the same time so strange haha We'll all be fine man. I probably won't be able to sleep tonight though.. Too excited.:)
  22. So freaking excited. Just got to London a few hours ago. Sat in my hotel going over the schedule now to make sure that I don't miss anything haha See you all tomorrow!!!!
  23. Packed and ready :) Leaving Manchester tomorrow morning! I can't wait!!!
  24. I've just put together a quick plan for the weekend and I have to say I'm really surprised that I don't have any major clashes. Having booked 13 photoshoots and going to 4 talks I was expecting some haha. I've got a few close calls on Saturday but I should be fine! :) A HUGE thank you to all the mods for working extremely hard today answering the same questions over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again hahaha! You guys rock!
