ericsdonor
Can you tell me if the upcoming announcements can or will include the "Big Transformers" warnings that had previously been mentioned please? Desperately waiting for something fabulous for this franchise and LFCC. Yeah... kinda thinking that has gone now Why would you think that ? The bigger the film the more there is behind the scenes that has to be agreed to make it happen. You will be happy on the day :-) Please be Mark Wahlberg or Optimus Prime, either way my younger and older self will be ridiculously happy
AxelV
There has to be a cut off age and 12 is quite usual. Disneyland Paris, Alton Tower and Chessington World of Adventures all have child prices as 11 and under. 16 is also pretty usual, and some (eg English Heritage, who I'd suggest have bigger bills to pay than you) have a cutoff as high as 19. I mean - we're coming anyway, and really looking forward to it, but it means I'm not going to offer to bring his friends (and their spending money) with him this time. I would assume their parents would pay for their own child's entry tickets if they really wanted to attend? If not... not your problem?

natedammit
You would think so wouldn't you ? I emailed Showmasters about 2 months ago regarding Exhibiting Props and Costumes as I have a rather modest collection of Ashes to Ashes costumes from the BBC 1 program but I never got a reply Not even a thanks but no thanks. I've now found out that if I want to do this I have to pay for a pitch which I wont do ! This info didn't come from Showmasters but from someone who has Exhibited before. Shame really as I'm sure theres a fair few people who would like to see these and I'm the only one who can. Oh well they've missed out there Well that's the show ruined. rainbow_tardis
Is it possible to combine orders? I've already placed 2 orders so will be paying postage on both and want to place another order now more stuff has been announced but will have to pay postage again.. I know most people buy in one go but can't be helped if no cash to do it that way and more guest announcements after booking! It just makes more sense to send everything out together anyway.. Would leave certain things to on the day but now seems like a bad idea to leave it. Edited May 29, 2014 by rainbow_tardis

LadyDeTemps
Really looking forward to this, and just buying tickets online - but slightly surprised and disappointed to note that 12-year-olds apparently count as adults. Mine still has a squeaky voice and - last time I looked - no income of his own, sadly! I've bought him to the con for the last few years, and he really enjoys it, plus I drop a hell of a lot more money at the con with him there than I would by myself, so am not best pleased to have to shell out even more money this year, when the only difference is that he's a couple of inches taller. A lot of actual adults have no income of their own!!!!!! And a lot of 12 year olds are taller than me. lol!
Queen_Sindel
Some Epic oversized outside props and set bits between a sectioned off run between the two areas would be amazing, am thinking a T-Rex. Actually having 'props' scattered around the site would be quite cool. Great for photo ops for cosplayers and visitors. You would think so wouldn't you ? I don't deal with Exhibitor Space, but as you say the info you have doesn't directly come from Showmasters. Your situation may be different. marktimelord
Thanks for the updated information Jason (and team), I have been coming to LFCC since 2009 and it just keeps getting better. I have booked eight photo shoots for Saturday and three (so far) for Sunday which is the most I have ever done. Really buzzing for this event. Namine
Same here, I'm so excited, I just can't hide it...wait, that's the song from Nutty Professor I've got a few 12 autos to get at the con. I may get a few more depending if I can be bothered and if I can afford it xD
GoldenGreen
Please can all the photoshoot areas be in the same hall. As this event is going to be busy, it will take quite some time to get around, and where photoshoots are close together I can see this being a bit of a nightmare if Photo Shoot A was in Earls Court 2 and then Photo Shoot B was in the Brompton Hall. It has been quite tough in the past just getting from one side of the hall to the other if photo shoots are close , so situating them in close proximity would really make it helpful for all those of us that get a lot of photoshoots during the weekend. Many Thanks.
Showmasters Admin Too Tall Posted May 30, 2014 Showmasters Admin Share Posted May 30, 2014 Honestly guys this isn't our first BBQ All the photo shoots will be in EC2. Please trust that we do know what we're doing, we're not going to be making things harder for people.

brooketessmacherfan
Will the guests be grouped together in terms of autographs, i.e all the wrestlers like Brooke Tessmacher are in in one section and the scifi guests are in another and so on
Moderators DavidB Posted May 30, 2014 Moderators Share Posted May 30, 2014 There's usually some grouping but it's impossible to group everyone :) but yes the wrestlers are normally near each other etc.
MrsEllacott
Ive also started to wait because you never now who is going to cancel and when. I remember ordering a few photoshoots years ago and by the time the event cam they had all cancelled. Ill probably end up booking at the last minute again. your welcome to do that but i am telling you we know how many people are buying more and more in advance and we are going to sell out of most photo ops before the show we think ? also in the past if a guest dropped out it did take a week or so or maybe longer not we have a new system so its refunded very fast so if a guest dose drop out you will have your money back fast :-) hope that is of help showmasters I have not sorted out my refund for Giancarlo Esposito photo shoot yet as I was planning to either get a refund or swap it for an additional John Ratzenberger photo for my daughter while at LFCC as suggested. What is the best option for me now?
Showmasters Admin showmasters Posted May 30, 2014 Author Showmasters Admin Share Posted May 30, 2014 Dearest Showmasters its a great idea to use both halls for such an event that is promising to be one of the best.My question is will you be telling us which guest is signing in which hall as I can imagine if a great deal of people at Earl s court hall one to see Mr.Lee and he is over at the other hall those people may be a little tick off as they may have to wait longer for a virtual ticket for an autograph, many thanks x Dearest Harley we print up maps for most of our events and in this case as its a new layout we will be informing you of where everything is , its best that way as having 80,000+ people ask us where something is over the weekend will tie up our crew from doing what they should be doing :-) hope that helps and as i said originally more info to come on this over the next few weeks ;-) showmasters

Oh well they've missed out there we do get busy here and we are a bit like tony hart where we cannot respond to everyone email , i get around 700 emails a day that are relevant to our events , so we deal with the ones that are timely and need to be responded to asap some do slip through the net we are only human as to your post about charging for people to display times that is not the case if we feel that there is a interest for the times people have to show then we make space available tables passes and have paid for transport and covered other costs also , so your statement is not true. There has been a the odd time where someone has shown there collection and wants to being it again this has happened a few times and in that case we do not offer to cover costs and give free space twice to the same show as it is more for the person displaying the collection that the public sing it as they have seen it before , in that case we do offer them space but its at the rate we charge our traders as all space in the hall cost a lot of money to the show and halls in central london are some of the most expensive in the world . so sorry if we did not get back to you on your collection Showmasters

Thanks for that Too Tall I have mobility issues and barely managed with the size of the hall last year and am hoping to get all 10 shoots on the Friday as Saturday is too busy and was thinking adding splitting between two halls no chance but if all photos are in one room I have a fighting chance!!!! I'd actually emailed SM to see if they thought it was possible to do that many shoots and any idea of the set up and now I see this thread lol Edited May 30, 2014 by red8886
twinzz
we think doing it in 2 halls is a pretty great idea for the sole reason that it allows a more natural "flow of people" because people won't be stuck with 40.000 in one room (seeing as you said 80.000, we'd assume that's the weekend so /2) :) if people move around more, it creates less of a tight feeling (and you'd be able to get some oxigen from time to time, also important!)
