Brilliant a music even, now this does sound like it could be very good. Hmmmmm guests, well I agree with the above post, that would be great to see members of Queen. Hmmmm I'll get my brain working (dangerous thing to do, but I'll give it a try) and think of some names.

Presumably you are looking at past musicians? Or are you going to try for all sorts? Personally I would like to James Horner the guy who did the soundtrack for Titanic and oh god someone help me, my mind had gone blank, the guy who did the soundtrack for LOTR.

Hmmmm blimey who else??????? I'll go burn some brain cells and come back though.

One thing that is bugging me though is this THE Mark? The one and only Showmaster Mark???? If so, welcome back Mark, its great to see you about again, kinda missed you hehehe.

This is fantastic - I am already there :) I remember suggesting an event like this on the forums 2 years ago, and being poo-pooed - over the moon that it's finally happened :P You guys are going to get a lot of money from me at this event :YAHOO:

As for guest suggestions, it's a long and varied list! I recognize there's a need to be realistic here as with any type of guest, but pretty much any Rock people would be gold for me; here's some name's that I'd be particularly over the moon about : -

Robert Plant & Jimmy Page (fat chance I know, but I would queue for 3 days)

Bruce Springsteen (ditto)

Bruce Dickinson (ditto)

Jim Steinman (ditto)

ANYONE from Iron Maiden

David Gilmour

John Petrucci

Brian May & Roger Taylor

Jon Anderson, Rick Wakeman, Steve Howe etc. from Yes

Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Tico Torres, David Bryan

Paul Weller

Ian Gillan + anyone from Deep Purple

Eddie Van Halen

Steve Vai

Joe Satriani

Slash

Joe Walsh

James Dean Bradfield

Billy Gibbons & Dusty Hill

David Lee Roth

Angus Young

Bob Catley & Tony Clarkin from Magnum

I'll come back to you with some more tomorrow B)

Hi,

This sounds like a great idea for a convention!

I personally would love to meet Kylie...... but I'm pretty certain that isn't going to happen!

But otherwise what about...

Alice Cooper

Bon Jovi

Metallica

Maybe some of the great cheesy 80's pop singers (eg Rick Astley)?

I'm sure whoever you get this will be a great convention.

Can't really suggest anyone specific, but if you can get any current guests to tie in with single/album releases around the time of the show, that'd be good :D

Can't find any myself yet as it's a bit too early to find set release dates for that far in advance :D

Have to agree with a lot of the above suggestions, especially Queen B)

Being an 80s fan should definitely be an advantage on this one! My list would be:

Blondie - Deborah Harry/Chris Stein/Clem Burke/Jimmy Destri

Kim Wilde

Adam Ant

Nik Kershaw

Jody Watley

Human League

Sam Brown

Limahl

Gary Numan

Iggy Pop

I must say, this is great idea for an event, can't wait!!

Take That and Robbie Williams

Backstreet Boys (they are currently working on a new album and should be completed soon)

Orson

There is a new band about called 365, they would be a good one to try and get think they are supporting Westlife on tour.

Metallica more than anyone! But that aint gona happen :P

After them, Bruce Dickinson, Brian May and Roger Taylor are the best ones I can think of who I can imagine doing it. Also Paul Di'anno! He did a few signings at record fayres a couple of years ago.

I like the idea of Danny Elfman as well! :D

Trying to stay vaguely realistic;

Alan Price

Georgie Fame

David Arnold

Adam Ant

Dannii Minogue

The Blockheads

Justine Frischmann (Elastica)

Louise Wener (Sleeper)

Any of the S Club Girls

Any Of The Steps Girls

- The last two suggestions are obviously for non-musical reasons!
