Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know that we will be holding a crew party at Musicmania Live on Saturday evening. It will be from 8pm in the bar of the Ramada hotel, as it was for Sportsmania. I also want to extend the invitation to any of you who volunteered for Musicmania but were not picked. We have a very small crew actually working this event and so unfortunately quite a few of you were not picked to crew this time. However, we love hanging out with you and really appreciate the fact that you volunteered, and so would be pleased if you can join us for the party anyway! Quite a few of the guests at the event have already said that they want to come along to the crew party so it should be a really fun evening. Anyway, hope to see some of you there. Mark

We are pleased to announce that Blaze Bayley will be joining us for Musicmania Live! Blaze was originally lead vocalist of Tamworth rock legends Wolfsbane. When Bruce Dickinson departed Iron Maiden in 1993, Bayley was chosen as his replacement in 1994. His first album with Maiden was The X Factor, released in 1995. Bayley went on to tour with the band in support of the album. In 1998 – still with Iron Maiden – he recorded the album Virtual XI. In February 1999, when Iron Maiden announced that vocalist Bruce Dickinson was returning to the band, Bayley departed. He remains the longest tenured member of the group who is not a current member. The following year, Bayley released his first album with his new band, Blaze. With this band he has so far created three studio albums, Silicon Messiah (2000), Tenth Dimension (2002), and Blood & Belief (2004), and one live album, As Live as It Gets (2003), respectively. We are delighted that this legend of rock will be joining us both days at Musicmania Live!

We are delighted to announce that Ian 'H' Watkins will be joining us for Musicmania Live! Ian Watkins is best known as 'H' from Steps. He has said that "H" stands for "hyperactive", describing his character. The group, which came together in 1997 had 14 top 10 singles in the UK.  After Steps split in 2001, he formed a duo with fellow ex-Steps member Claire Richards and became H & Claire. Watkins then decided to take a musical theatre course at the Royal Academy of Music. He was filmed through the course and it was broadcast as a reality TV series, H-side Story. After graduating from the academy Watkins successfully starred in the West End production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.  He finished in fourth place on Celebrity Big Brother 2007 and was the first contestant to be cheered on exit that season. Ironically, Watkins was the highest placed British contestant in the show. He was proud to hear Davina McCall announce that he entered the house "as H" and left "as Ian".  During summer 2007 he will be performing in the West End version of Fame

We are pleased to announce that Lisa Scott-Lee will be joining us for Musicmania Live! Lisa is best known for her five years with one of the most successful UK pop groups of all time, Steps. The group, which came together in 1997 and had 14 top 10 singles in the UK, split up at the end of 2001. In 2005 she took part in a fly on the wall tv show called Totally Scott-Lee, which followed her around for a year tracking her life. Earlier this year Lisa proved incredibly popular appearing on ITV's Dancing on Ice Show. Having been an early favourite she finished in 6th place building a whole new fanbase! Lisa is now continuing with a solo career, and we are delighted that she has time to be with us at the show.

We are pleased to announce that Dane Bowers will be joining us for Musicmania Live! Dane anchored the R&B quartet Another Level. They had seven Top Ten singles in two years in the UK, including 1998's UK Number one "Freak Me"; and a platinum selling, self-titled debut album. 1999's gold-selling Nexus followed, along with BRIT Awards nominations and the opening slot on Janet Jackson's European tour. After the group split, Bowers wrote and fronted two UK Top Ten hits, for the UK garage act Truesteppers in 2000, "Buggin'" and "Out Of Your Mind". The latter featured the first solo outing of Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham. "Out Of Your Mind" reached number two, but was beaten to the Number one spot in a highly publicised "chart battle" by Spiller featuring Sophie Ellis-Bextor with "Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)". A bootleg was later made of the two records (with Bowers and Beckham's vocals set against the "Groovejet" backing track) and received underground interest.
