Chanters4
Is anyone else having trouble getting to the venue on Sunday due to all the closures for the cycle race? I was hoping to arrive early to get a god VQ for Ian McDiarmid, but it looks like i wonr be able to arrive until 08:30 ish Edited July 27, 2016 by Chanters4
Sebster118
I won't be able to get there on Sunday until 7.30am if I use the Underground. A friend, who wants to meet some Dianond guests by VQ and get there at 6am, suggested getting a taxi.
Chanters4
Even if i try to use the buses, the roads are closed so I can't do that either. I could walk but it's almost a 2 hours walk haha

If you are coming by car try just park and park nearish on a road that is open and walk

Iceman71
Underground at present always starts around 7am on a Sunday (until 24hr Friday/Saturday running starts in August). There won't be a problem getting Ian McDiarmid auto

Chanters4
I should be able to arrive there for 08:30am so really hoping I manage a low VQ, I know he won't be impossibly busy, just worries me that he's only there the one day and I hope I don't miss out 😭
posey1234
just wondering if anyone knows if buses are running from earls court to the con?
Knitty Fred
just wondering if anyone knows if buses are running from earls court to the con? To be honest it's about a 20-30 minute walk. I think Barons Court is slightly closer
Murph
When you get off at Earl's Court, use the Warwick road exit. 15 mins walk from there.
Raylenth
High Street Kensington is relatively close as well. And it's an easy route from there

I was hoping to arrive early to get a god VQ for Ian McDiarmid, but it looks like i wonr be able to arrive until 08:30 ish I am driving on Sunday and plan on coming the long way and using the B3220 (unless someone tells me that road will be closed next lol) to get to the Olympia Car Park. I also want a VQ ticket for Ian. If I get in there before you, I cant promise but I will try and grab an extra one for you Edited July 28, 2016 by gazbritten
Alric
VQ tickets are one per person, they will not give you one for someone else. Edited July 28, 2016 by Alric
Faerie Tanith
VQ tickets are one per person, they will not give you one for someone else. If you queue up again, you'll get another. You can't queue once and get several VQ tickets. (If I remember correctly from another thread?)
Murph
VQ tickets are one per person, they will not give you one for someone else. That is generally the rule, but not always the case.

You can't queue once and get several VQ tickets. (If I remember correctly from another thread?) Not if the Crew member recognizes you. It is one per Person, and not one per Person each time the Person is queueing.
Murph
Well technically you're allowed to go back and get another VQT under the 5 item rule.
Queen_Sindel
Well technically you're allowed to go back and get another VQT under the 5 item rule. Yes, but normally this was always meant as "after you've been through and got your items signed". It was pretty much tolerated over the years, but I am going by the book to avoid anyone going "but the mods said it is okay!!"
subwaykfc
Due too a big cycle race in London, loads of roads will be closed and loads of busses are being diverted. Best option for getting to Olympia is Train or Underground Here is a list of the closures & Bus diversions..... http://www.lbc.co.uk/ride-london-route-road-closures-on-sunday-31-July-94867
