Movie would be Stardust (if its still on next week and she hasn't seen it I'm taking my Mum to see it on the weekend cause I liked it so much).

TV - well I don't watch a lot of TV shows, its mostly dvds and re-runs on sky, but if I could count them I'd say Gadget show (remember the Christmas special is on tonight) and Top Gear.

Best TV show has to go to Chuck - excellent blend of spy spoofing, mixed with other comedy and drama, and a really great cast with some decent guest stars too. Really impressed by it.

Film? I'm undecided. I'll think more.

best tv show - definitely has to be Robin Hood! great storylines and great actors (especially Jonas who plays Robin, corrr!)

best movie - has to be 300 without a doubt! loved everything about it.

also saw the Golden Compass the other day which has amazing CGI and I've always loved the Phillip Pullman books so thats a fave too

oh and La Vie en Rose! its too hard to pick just one!

as much as I love Heroes I think I'm gonna have to say Supernatural for best TV show.

as for best film. my mind's drawn a blank. I did love Transformers, and not just because i got to see it for free weeks before the release. I think i'd probably actually go with Volver. loved that movie.

TV show- Heroes (tho i also love grey's and lost i'll put it down as i started watching it this year) such a fresh new fantasy tv series, love the comic book feel to it and the great writing.

Film- Stardust or Harry Potter both great films

Best tv shows are One Tree Hill, Grey's Anatomy and I guess Heroes

Don't you comment on my amazing television shows :YAHOO:

Films? I don't even know what came out this year, I barely even remember going to the cinema last week... I actually struggle remembering what I did today... worrying...

Oh and Friday night lights! If you don't watch Friday Night Lights then you really should - season one is awsome.

Film is probably transformers, because it must have been good, my partner liked it and he never likes anything.

I also thought the pursuit of happiness was good and so was hairspray.

I know that it doesn't air over here until the New Year, but I have seen the first 12 episodes of Season 3 of My Name Is Earl and I have to say that it is hilarious!!!

i am so jealous, I havnt even watched season 2 cuz im waiting for it to come out on dvd.

With Season 3 they have excelled themselves with where Earl is. The story in Season 2 leads on well from Season 1, and flows effortlessly into Season 3. You find out a lot more about Crabman in Season 3, and you won't stop laughing. And no, that isn't a spoiler, but rather an observation of the writer's developing what I feel is the best character in the show.
