  1. The movie She Said was a very good well acted true life drama. It was definitely a story that needed to be told. Not something to watch if you are looking for something easy and light hearted to watch but certainly an interesting film I would recommend seeing.
  2. Matilda - The Musical (the film adaptation of the stage play) was an entertaining film and faithful adaptation of the play. It was much weaker than the original film and the book but had some good performances and music. If you are a fan of the book or play you won't be disappointed.
  3. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was quite good. It wasn't as good as the first but it had good effects and was visually impressive. Also some interesting political issues. If you are a fan franchise you'll probably enjoy it.
  4. Prey for the Devil (or The Devil's Light) was a good for scares and jumpy moments. It just felt it lacked character development and a more solid storyline.
  5. Halloween Ends (or Halloween 11 if you prefer - excluding Rob Zombie's remakes) was an interesting sequel with a bit of difference to the other Halloween sequels. Still not hugely original but should have enough to satisfy fans of the franchise.
  6. Smile was a good creepy horror film with some very chilling and quite original scenes. It's a shame the end fell into the common CGI/make-up trap so many horror films nowadays do .
  7. Ticket to Paradise was an entertaining if predictable comedy. Good performances from George Clooney and Julia Roberts. Had some impressive scenery and amusing situations.
  8. Bodies Bodies Bodies was a watchable teenage horror comedy film. Nothing hugely original but still entertaining enough.
  9. Crimes of the Future was an interesting idea and had some good scenes and performances. The movie also had an original idea for the human race in the near future but the movie lacked a serious climax and could have explored it's plot better.
  10. Orphan: First Kill was a passable prequel. It was different enough to the original to make it a movie on it's own but did seem to miss the tension that made the first movie so good.
  11. Nope was a good science fiction/horror. It felt much longer than necessary and has been overrated a little by the critics but still had some clever and spooky moments.
  12. Mena Suvari (American Pie, American Beauty, American Horror Story & Chicago Fire) Denise Richards (Starship Troopers, The World is Not Enough, The Bold and The Beautiful & Wild Things) Breckin Meyer (Franklin & Bash, Clueless, Robot Chicken, Heroes, Road Trip, The Fix & Freddy’s Dead) Chrissy Metz (This Is Us, American Horror Story & Kung Fu Panda TV Show) Jayma Mays (Bill & Ted, Glee, Heroes, Ugly Betty, The League, Red Eye & The Millers) Paige Moss (Beverly Hills 90210, Its All Relative, Can’t Hardly Wait & Buffy)
  13. Where the Crawdads Sing was really good. The film had terrific character development and great performances. The storyline and script were original and interesting.
  14. Harris Yulin (Ghostbusters 2, 24, Buffy & Scar Face) Brianne Tju (Light as a Feather, Scream TV Series, I Know What You Did Last Summer TV Series & Make It or Break It) Fairuza Balk (Return to Oz, American History X, The Craft, Almost Famous & Paradise City) Kristen Stewart (Twilight, Snow White, The Runaways, Charlie’s Angels & Still Alice) Erika Christensen (Traffic, Parenthood, Swimfan, Six Degrees & Ten Days in the Valley ) Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory, Blossom & Beaches)
  15. Elvis was a brilliant telling of Elvis Presley's life. The performances, music and concert scenes were extremely well done and so was the less well known story of his manager. Enjoyable whether you are an Elvis Presley fan or not.

  22. Jurassic World: Dominion (or Jurassic Park 6 if you prefer) was brilliant. It did seem darker than the other Jurassic Park films but setting it away from an island did make it different enough to simply repeat the previous films. There were fantastic action scenes and it was great to see so many of the characters back together.
  23. Everything Everywhere All at Once was an entertainingly ambitious film. I think it has been overrated by critics and it seemed difficult at times to know what was going on but enjoyable (if a little too long).
  24. Amanda Seyfried (In Time, Mank, Ted 2, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia, Mean Girls, Red Riding Head & Veronica Mars) Emma Roberts (American Horror Story, Scream Queens & Scream 4) Joseph Lawrence (Melissa & Joey, Blossom, Hawaii Five-0, CSI NY & Half & Half) Autumn Reeser (Lost Boys 2, Hawaii Five-0, The O.C., No Ordinary Family, Last Resort & The Arrangement) Gary Grubbs (Bad Lieutenant, The O.C., Will & Grace & The X Files) Piper Perabo (Coyote Ugly, Penny Dreadful, Notorious, Covert Affairs & Turn Up Charlie)
