anyone else out there crewing for the first time? I'm doing the whole weekend including thursday setup and have accomodation for friday and saturday hopefully but no idea who I'll be sharing with! best tv show - definitely has to be Robin Hood! great storylines and great actors (especially Jonas who plays Robin, corrr!) best movie - has to be 300 without a doubt! loved everything about it. also saw the Golden Compass the other day which has amazing CGI and I've always loved the Phillip Pullman books so thats a fave too oh and La Vie en Rose! its too hard to pick just one!

need a little help here.. been told to research a movie for uni which is based on little red riding hood, but i dont know the name! anyone got any ideas? apparently its a strange twist on the story and red riding hood falls for the wolf or something along those lines! ..strange i know thanks

Why did you back away? That must have really embarrassed him, was it cos he looked like you Dad but then again doent your pops kiss you? Laserdisc?? Why have you kept it? Is there something special about it that the DVD doesnt have? I was thinking about this the other day, I get DVDs signed but I realised there's so much more room on a Laserdisc for signatures! i've never owned a laserdisc player either, i just have it as a collectable! they're pretty rare now and definitely more room for a signature so i thought that was my best option! i did get a photograph signed too though!

ok I'm Kaz! used to be on this forum back in the day but I'm not quite sure what happened.. anyway, im 20..21 next week! I live in London at the moment, studying at the University of the Arts which is amazing!! but home is in Buckinghamshire. Been going to showmasters events since collectormania 2 and havn't missed one yet! I'm a huge huge comic/graphic novel fan, mainly horror comics..IDW stuff but i do love my real superheroes too. Big into lotr ever since i read the books as a wee teen, and have a slight obsession with the movies..just seen the musical here for the 2nd time too :) go see it, its incredible! i love star trek next generation and slowly working my way upto the 8th season of stargate sg-1 coz i dont have much time to watch tv! probably finish all 10 in the next few years haha! my one true love is probably star wars, coming in close with lotr though! i love most fantasy/sci-fi as long as its well made! pan's labyrinth is probably the best one ive seen in a while though. oh and pretty much anything george a romero has done! what a legend! im a very 'arty' person i guess! doing graphic design at uni..love illustration and photography.hoping to have my own comic series one day! fingers crossed music wise..from the beach boys to joanna newsom, or the shins to mogwai.i love so many different types..david bowie if i had to name one all time favourite!! or him and the smashing pumpkins if i had 2!! also the shout out louds, prince, iron & wine, frou frou, the apples in stereo etc... im very spiritual too..im qualified in reiki and do a lot of yoga. i'm quite sure i've already written far too much.. :) hope to talk some of you soon! me as a cat on halloween and thats me in the middle

definitely George Romero and Michael Shanks..and once he finally got there on saturday, Danny Dyer was really nice! bit of a cheeky chap!

i was sitting aroung in costa on saturday afternoon and who walks in for lunch? its george! i had a ticket to see him later on and didnt really want to disturb his lunch but i couldnt stop staring! hes such a legend..i was sooo starstruck! i'm no stalker but i noticed a few things..he was eating a ham sandwich, reading Shakespeare by bill bryson (very nice!) and smokes marlboro reds! haha anyway, got to meet him after his break and hes such a lovely man.definitely worth going just for him.got my laserdisc signed and a great photo..will upload soon! lets hope showmasters bring him back..for anyone who didnt get to meet him, its a must!! and fingers crossed i wont be so nervous next time!!
