  1. You like American History X? Dude, your taste has sky rocketed . That is one of my favourite films.
  2. If the remake is a good one, then great. But, from a personal point of view, I have seen some poor remakes of different generes of films asides from Horror.
  3. To the following I wish a very happy birthday. Chris-von-der-Voyage(18) Lee Scrivens(49) -KiKi-(28) leanneofthedsc.(17)
  4. Top bloke. Met him at a convention in Bristol several years back and he was most excellent...
  5. I must admit that this was a far better outing, in my opinion, than last years due to Catherine Tate's Donna not being in it. Even more Angels in attendance, which is something becoming a regular thing for David Tennant's Doctor. Is this a build up to his departure in the future in a similar way they did the Bad Wolf bits in Christopher Ecclestone's outing as the Doctor? Or maybe even a build up to the end of the next season when the Doctor is injured and he has a bevvy of companions to assist him? I found Kylie to be a good addition to the Whovian folklure, and it is left open for her to return down the line. I did laugh when the Titanic's historian expert said that Great Britain was ruled by Santa Claus and his wife Mary; and that we went to war with Turkey every year before eating them. And then there was the comment about Boxing Day. I must admit that RTD kept it fresh and upto date with little bits here and there that were relevant today. However, it all came to a screeching halt when they showed previews of the new series; and more specifically Donna speaking. I just hope that they have better stuff with her or my fears of her slipping into "Lauren mode" will be confirmed. There was one scene which made me cringe the way she spoke. I could be wholely wrong about her, but I will watch with an open mind combined with dread and fear.
  6. Well, it seems that your wishes may come true Paul. Apparently, Stephanie McMahon Levesque is pushing for Cena to turn up in some capacity as he will be feuding with Orton upon his return.
  7. Hmmm, let me guess.. Umaga? No. Mr Kennedy? Maybe. HBK & Triple H? Nah...hold on...most certainly!!!
  8. Me to, only 364 days until the next one (it is a leap year you know!)
  9. As long as the Hostel isn't anything like the one in the films.
  10. Newsagents in the UK - and I know this from working in several - can order magazines direct from the makers if the middle suppliers are out of stock. If in doubt, go to the UK WWE Shop and order it.
  11. Unless they have recently changed it, the Divas magazine is an annual release. There may be some issues still on sale, but it will be a case of looking in the shops.
  12. Just close your eyes, and dream sweetie pie!
  13. He should be shown on the special Tribute to the Troops Raw tonight as he was there as Santa Claus - something Steve Austin has done for several years. Reports say he was still taped up, but we will find out how far along he is tonight. As regards a physical return, I couldn't see him back this side of WrestleMania. I believe the current in ring return is ironically the PPV every seems to return on these days, SummerSlam. However, with Cena's well known devotion to the industry and training, it wouldn't shock me to see him back earlier.
  14. The Rainbow Haired Warrior dropping the Swanton Bomb on The Legend Killer on this past week's Raw: This one is for Vampess Lisa:
  15. David Tennant made his bow as the Star In The Reaosnably Priced Car around the Top Gear Test Track. Wary that Billie Piper had entered a good time, although Jeremy Clarkson did point out she had done a lap of her choosing which bore little resemblance to the real route but got let off as she had a see through black tip on, David went half a second slower than her. It was a great interview in the studio with David coming off very good against the usually bullish Clarkson.
  16. Scott Hall no showed a few more events following Turning Point, but finally showed up for the Main Event at an ICP Juggalow Championship Wrestling event. He was admitting how wrong he was to no show Turning Point. As regards Samoa Joe and his infamouns shoot interview, the following has finally emerged from within TNA care of Ryan Thomas (a wrestling journalist connected to TNA): 1. Homicide was Samoa Joe's pick to replace Scott Hall, but Jeff Jarrett felt that they needed a major face that connected with the crowd. Jarrett therefore picked Showtime Eric Young. 2. 80% of the "shoot promo" was scripted at the last minute due to Scott no showeing. However, Samoa Joe DID stray off script by takign major digs at Nash & Co for fattening up their pensions whilst doing little other than steal the limelight of the undercard wrestlers. 3. There was a genuine scuffle between Joe and Nash backstage. But Joe humbled himself the next day at the roster meeting by apologising to the entire company, and Big Kevin Nash inparticular. 4. Since Turning Point, the TNA writers decided that they should give Joe an angle where he is championing the causes of the hard working wrestlers to get a fair deal. This was furthered this past Thursay on Impacty where Joe chewed out Matt Morgan for getting outside caterers in and spending money on that when they couldn't even offer Joe a decent salary offer in his new contract.
  17. January 6th 2008 sees TNA's first PPV of the year, FINAL RESOLUTION. Headlined by a World Heavyweight Title Match between Kurt Angle and recently turned babyface Christian Cage; we will also see Johnny Devine & Tean 3D take on The Motorcoty Machine Guns & Black Machismo Jay Lethal. Other rumoured matches to be officially announced on Impact are: Judas Mesias vs Abyss World Tage Team Title Match: Tomko & AJ Syles vs Samoa Joe & Kevin Nash Awesome Kong vs Gail Kim for the Knockout Women's Title Elix Skipper vs Senshi These four have yet to be officially announced as Impact is taped weeks in advance. But, form the reports form the tapings, these matches look a lock. Official Matches Announced: World Heavyweight Title Match: Kurt Angle vs Christian Cage Ultimate X Match: Johnny Devine & Team 3D vs Jay Lethal & The Motorcity Machine Guns
