Slightly miffed....mainly about the extra day annual leave and the extra night at the hotel which could have saved me £100 but hey... There must be a fair few folk in the same boat as me arriving from various destinations on the Thursday. Does anyone want to do something? like an LFCC spree of London? Suggestions are welcome, it'll either be that or you'll find me at the hotel bar, which again ain't that bad an idea *Updated 25th July* The final super duper plan!!! this has been changed many times with many discussions and a few votes to get here. I could so be the next prime minister... At roughly 2pm there is the option to meet inside the Hand and Flower for a wee bit of socialising if folk arrive rather early into London. The main meet will still be at 3pm outside Pizza Express, we'll hang around for some stragglers before heading to Forbidden Planet. At 5pm-ish after spending a bit of time shopping it would be a good time to start making our way back to the Olympia to pick up passes and stuff where the queues will hopefully be less. For those of us not able to meet during the day but want to do something in the evening the plan is stil to meet inside the Crown and Sceptre at 7pm. This is so we can get some food and a few drinkies to calm pre-con nerves... I have been assured that the food here is very tasty and the pub location is quite convenient and near the Olympia and most hotels I think. If you're worried about walking into a bar alone and don't know who to look for I will be wearing a black and white dress, the skirt has a red rose sewn on. I will also be about 6'2 with my heels on and will most probably be at the bar Look forward to meeting you all! timlux Posted June 10, 2016 Share Posted June 10, 2016 Yeah well I´m coming from Luxembourg, so now with that cancellation, it really sucks to pay this 120 quid for that one night that I don´t need now , but well I could cancel the hotel for free, but not my flight. So yeah I am available to do something on thursday , I arrive at London City Airport at 11 a.m will quick go to my hotel , and yeah kinda have no idea what to do as I was already many many times in London, maybe Forbidden Planet. I too am staying at the Hilton :) By the time my flight gets in to Stansted then the travelling to actually get to the hotel i'll probably arrive after 2pm, that's roughly the same time I arrived last year.
