Same, where you'd have three shoots upstairs, one downstairs, and one at a random part of the hall. All in the space of 10-15 minutes

and you'd be looking at your watch going how fast can i run will i make it

I don't know how true this is, and I'd probably get in trouble for spreading rumours if mods were still active here, but I recently spoke with a collector & convention organiser who attends most cons around the UK and he (supposedly) has it on good authority that a lot of big names simply won't work with SM any more. He used the Joseph Quinn incident as just one example of why. Then there are guests who sign exclusive contracts with other companies like Monopoly Events that state they can ONLY appear at conventions held by those companies for the next x amount of months/years. Between contracts with other companies and guests who (again, supposedly) have blacklisted SM, it sounds like they're struggling.

Well If that is true, SM are gonna be in big trouble because Monopoly Events aren't little players at all

Considering how quiet it is today it's oddly chaotic. :uhoh:

That doesn’t bode well for my Boreanaz photoshoot tomorrow. Did you happen to notice where Denise Richards was sitting? She’s the only one I need a VQ ticket for in the morning.

She was in the far left corner upstairs today.

Actually it's been a really good LFCC today and despite not many guests for me, you only need 1 or 2 to lift the spirits and have a good time, making it all worth while . I even saw @wjbleming but as on previous years was too nervous to say hello!

I thought I seen someone I recognised! Please do talk to me, I could put a name to the face! (If it’s the same person lol)

I've said it before, but I'll say it again Julian Glover, what a legend, without prompts, commented on everyones projects and the series they were getting posters signed for, and was asking if they wanted character names. Long may he turn up on our screens and conventions

Hey, random question guys, and apologies if you've seen me in another channel asking this, but has anyone ever had a diamond pass or photoshoot ticket with a different name than yours and used that? in short, Eventbrite made a mistake on the name on my diamond pass ticket but my general entry has my name on it (the name of the purchaser), and since you can't edit details, is it likely they will edit the information if i email them since its not giving the ticket to somebody else, or if not is it likely to be an issue? I'm really worried ive spent like £300 on something i can't use.

This is guess work, so please dont take this as definitive.

Is it for this show, or based on the price for Ncuti in winter? if so I'd wait for a response, it might take a few days as they are at show this weekend

If it is for this show, have you had the ticket and qr code emailed to you. As if you dont get a response via email, you could ask the question when you come to collect the tickets.

Hiya, yes this is for Ncuti at LCC Winter. Apologies for changing the topic region, I might've got myself in a bit of a mad rush about it. Fully appreciate they're at LFCC this weekend and they won't respond for a good few days, I was just wondering what the publics experiences with Diamond Passes are and if something like this could be an issue. The way I see it, its two different scanning points, and DPs don't have names on them to my knowledge? So the name would only matter if someone made the connection that the name was different.

That being said, I'd absolutely like to get this issue resolved to 100% guarantee, I'm just not sure how well Showmasters will take it, as i'm worried even with the same last name and me being the holder of the account and all the details they will refuse to change the name as it could be seen as "transferring" the ticket? Unsure, and given the high pricing its obviously worrying given I had no control over it (I didn't have a text option to fill out a name?)

No apologies needed. We've all been there, I missed a few details when booking my pass as well in my haste to order.

I dont know there procedures in cases like this, but there is plenty time for this to rectified.

Yeah theres not alot of information for something like this, granted it is pretty specific. You'd like to hope with something like this they can tell the difference between genuine error and attempted transferring for reselling and fix this.

Guys, I've got an insane story to tell you : Today, I had bought a ticket for an autograph with Denise Richards. But I didn't know I had to have vouchers for exchanging them for the signing and the staff member didn't give them to me

So on the last hours, I was waiting Denise returns to her stand and some staff members noticed I only have the receipt and a number for the queue and despite that and all the explainations I gave to them, not only I almost couldn't have met Denise but the worst of that, I probably never would have be refunded.

With the help of an awesome other staff member and Denise's one, I finally got my autograph but all that stuff was an absolute nonsense. I never saw that in 10 years of LFCC

That's incredibly strange, they don't really sell autograph tickets but only the vouchers. Though I did buy some vouchers today and the lady really needed to know who I'd be using them for (instead of just selling me the 3 vouchers I asked for). Glad you got it all sorted out though

Well, precisely : the only thing they gave me was the receipt but nobody told me I had to exchange it with vouchers

So was this for paying for autographs with your credit/debit card funds or can you no longer just pay cash for autographs at some of the desks?

That sounds like poor management or communication, or both. That's not how that should work.

You can only pay cash at the desks. If paying by card, you need to buy them at the sales desk.

I just come back from London and, i was feared, this was my last LFCC for a while ! I was there on Friday: everything happened on the ground floor, no one in the aisles, few professional stands (they were separated in the middle by a designer "fanzone"). Guests were in the middle of the stands. Almost nothing on the first floor...  No big queues, no virtual tickets needed as in the past... The convention no longer has anything to do with what it was two years ago. I didn't have any guests to see. The atmosphere of the end of a reign... Goodbye LFCC! I will remember the good times...

On the train to Brighton. I enjoyed today. All of the guests that I met were lovely, and I met far more than I have done for the past few years. It was very quiet though, other than David Boreanaz’s queues.
