  1. There's usually only one slot a day, except for the really popular guests. I think you can choose which you'll get in line for if there are multiple, but I could be wrong. All the diamond passes are numbered and those numbers are called before everyone else (the regular folk and the gold passes). You can start queueing up when your diamond pass number is called or later. If you come after your diamond pass is called, I'm quite sure they'll give you priority in the queue (or at least over regular/gold).
  2. I'll have to adjust according to budget (and cancellations/announcements), but so far I'm interested in: Richard Dreyfuss, Dean-Charles Chapman, Clinton Liberty, Ronee Blakley, Katie Dickie, Jennifer Banko (if she shows up this time) Maybes: Frank Ashmore, Allen Danziger, William Vail, Larry Zerner I'd like to meet Ncuti Gatwa for Sex Education, but 125£ is really too high a price for me (more than I paid for Smith, Tennant and Eccleston who had far bigger careers at that point).
  3. Ngl, I had hoped for a bigger Nightmare on Elm Street reunion at LFCC, considering it was the 40th year anniversary. Not even Robert Englund this time. With Ronee Blakley being rescheduled, I hope they can announce some of the following: Heather Langenkamp Robert Rusler Marshall Bell Penelope Sudrow Craig Wasson (Patricia Arquette? I hear she's really expensive though) Joe Seely Michael Bailey Smith Lisa Zane Lezlie Deane Shon Greenblatt Breckin Meyer Alice Cooper (he still owes us a visit) Miko Hughes Tracy Middendorf Monica Keena Zack Ward
  4. Apparently, she's already out of 'convention retirement' and has done events in the States. But I agree that I'd love to see a Sex Education reunion (even if the last season kinda sucked).
  5. I thought I made a post about Saturday on my way home, but I must've forgotten to actually post it. I agree that all guests were lovely. Ray Winstone was a gent and I finally got Rupert Grint's autograph (skipped him 2 times before because he was never personalising). All in all, the day went quite smoothly for me, no problems. My main gripe is that this amount of money would've probably gotten me twice as many guests 5 years ago (and it's not that the names are bigger). The stalls were a bit of a letdown and there weren't too many. It was also rather quiet on Saturday, which makes me worry for the future. That, and I realised that I've actually never met anyone from the forum in all my years of Showmasters (save TooTall)
  6. That's incredibly strange, they don't really sell autograph tickets but only the vouchers. Though I did buy some vouchers today and the lady really needed to know who I'd be using them for (instead of just selling me the 3 vouchers I asked for). Glad you got it all sorted out though
  7. I didn't need him (got him at a German con last year), but I got the impression his queue was really okay. It will definitely be more quiet on a Sunday too. He's not much of a talker either and usually goes quite smoothly through the lines
  8. I remember they once announced Jean-Pierre Castaldi for an Autographica or Film Fair but he cancelled. Would be great if they'd get him back(I can't really remember him from Moonraker, but he's been in other stuff).
  9. True, though I've got the impression that it's dwindled down to a few players in the UK who just organise the majority of the cons. But I agree it's just too much and especially with a huge increase in guests' prices, I'm not sure how feasible it'll remain.
  10. Been thinking the same about Nightmare on Elm Street too. They seem to have given up after the 5 guests they announced (4 now). I've been wondering how hard they've been hit by the pandemic (financially) or how much really is to blame on Olympia's works, but they haven't been able to draw in many big guests or the big crowds the last couple of years.
  11. Autographs: Rupert Grint (but only if he personalises) Denise Richards Ray Winstone Michael Vu Matthew Needham Kate Dickie Patty Mullan Jennifer Banko Marti Matulis maybes (still figuring out how much I want to spend and it'll depend on Grint too): Hanna Alström Jessie Cave Beatrice Boepple Lee Ingleby Whit Hertford
  12. My yearly wish for guests from: The Musketeers Tom Burke, Howard Charles, Ryan Gage, Tamla Kari, Maimie McCoy, Hugo Speer, Matthew McNulty, Rupert Everett Penny Dreadful Reeve Carney, Rory Kinnear, Danny Sapani, Harry Treadaway, Simon Russell Beale, Wes Studi, Patti LuPone, Brian Cox House of the Dragon Eve Best, Sonoya Mizuno, Fabien Frankel, Jefferson Hall, Harry Collett, Tom Glynn-Carney, Ewan Mitchell, Phia Saban, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Gayle Rankin
  13. Never thought I'd be the one to start one of these, but since this is one of the few things that does keep the forum somewhat alive As it does seem we're going to have a Texas Chainsaw Massacre reunion (it is the anniversary after all), I'd love to meet a couple of more guests from the franchise Edwin Neal Teri McMinn John Larroquette (though unlikely, I assume) Caroline Williams Bill Johnson Kate Hodge Tom Everett Eric Balfour Erica Leerhsen Mike Vogel Jonathan Tucker Diora Baird Lee Tergesen Dan Yeager Alexandra Daddario Tania Raymonde Richard Riehle Elsie Fisher Mark Burnham Sarah Yarkin Olwen Fouéré
  14. She did 1 con in the US, but I think she said that it was a one off. Would love to meet her too though
  15. On a more cult level, it's the 45th anniversary of The Warriors this year! There've been a couple of reunions in the US, but it'd be nice to have one in the UK too. Mainly hoping for David Harris, Brian Tyler, Terry Michos, Deborah Van Valkenburg and David Patrick Kelly (who's done his first con - I believe - last year and will tick off many boxes for other fans too with Twin Peaks and the Crow)
  16. Fantastic guest! Got no other choice than coming now ^^
  17. List is still rather short Ronee Blakley, Patty Mullen, Kate Dickie, Matthew Needham, Denise Richards and Ray Winstone Rupert Grint if he personalises Maybe: Boepple & Hertford
  18. I usually don't care much for the smaller Star Wars guests, but... since it's the 25th anniversary and Showmasters is bound to do something with it (right?) Pernilla August Steven Speirs Alan Ruscoe Celia Imrie Lindsay Duncan Phil Eason Michaela Cottrell Michelle Taylor Gin Clarke Hassani Shapi Dipika O'Neill Joti
  19. Will definitely get his autograph if he personalises this time!
  20. Current list: Bill Paterson, Vincent Regan, Dick Wieand, Matthew Needham, Thom Mathews Maybes: Markella Kavenagh, Dave Sheridan, Maggie Service, Hanna Hall, Oliver Robins The Showmasters line ups haven't been that strong last couple of years, but after LFCC Winter I did think they we're on the right track again. Not so much for spring though.
  21. Tom Wu would be a really great guest and is, I believe, UK based so...
  22. Hoping Showmasters will start bringing bigger US guests over again, but for now: Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon Harry Lloyd Eve Best Sonoya Mizuno Fabien Frankel Matthew Needham Jefferson Hall Harry Collett Tom Glynn-Carney Ewan Mitchell Phia Saban Phoebe Campbell Bethany Antonia Gavin Spokes Bill Patterson Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Jacob Anderson Michelle Fairley Richard Madden Michael McElhatton Dean Charles Chapman Indira Varma Ian Gelder Roxanne McKee Thomas Brodie-Sangster Kate Dickie Aimee Richardson Rosabell Laurenti Sellers Friday the 13th & horror Amy Steel Warrington Gillette Marta Kober Ashley Laurence Galavant Timothy Omundson Joshua Sasse Ben Presley Darren Evans Clare Foster Robert lindsay Robin Hood Jonas Armstrong Joe Armstrong Gordon Kennedy Sam Troughton Anjali Jay Joanne Froggatt Lara Pulver Lucy Griffiths Coupling Jack Davenport Sarah Alexander Richard Coyle Kate Isitt Gina Bellman Richard Mylan Various Ioan Gruffudd Duncan Lacroix Jason Flemyng Karen Gillan (wasn't able to get her at LFCC Winter due to how busy she was ) Freema Agyeman Jodie Whittaker Naveen Andrews Howard Charles Tom Burke Luke Pasquelino Ryan Gage Steve Speirs Jack Donnelly Sarah Parish Aiysha Hart Jemima Rooper John Hannah Angel Coulby Alexander Vlahos Adetomiwa Edun Lysette Anthony Suzanne Bertish Lee Boardman David Bamber Tia Carrere Harry Treadaway Reeve Carney Simon Russell Beale Sex Education cast Hunger Games cast Any of these for the Saturday, please
  23. Gutted that I didn't get to meet her, even with a low VQ ticket. Hopefully she'll be back soon
  24. It's Saturday only now, indeed. People who had bought Sunday tickets received e-mails, I believe
