I most certainly did not spend the day watching it on repeat blubbering away like a little girl. No sir, not me! I really liked it. It hit the right tone for me. We were told this one would be a bit more serious and dark than previous versions and I like that they're doing that. The trailer was well put together in that it gave you the feel of the movie, without giving too much of the story away (which makes a change for Sony!). There were plenty of nods back to the first movie which really did hit me in the feels and affected me more than I thought it would. Most of my Ghostbusters fan friends loved it too but I have heard a few people complaining (as they do with every movie). Some are asking why it's not the original GB team? We were told it wasn't. As much as we love them, watching a bunch of Grandads on their Zimmer frames busting ghosts won't carry a movie! Some say it's too much like Stranger Things? Well, Finn Wolfhard is in it, so I see that connection, but to be fair, Ghostbusters is one of the franchises that influenced ST, so of course they will seem similar!! I can't wait for it to come out so we can see what the film actually is, as trailers have been known to give the wrong impression of films from time to time, but everything I've seen about this one feels like it's a good direction to be heading and will hopefully give the franchise new legs to continue forward for a while yet. Unlike that other... thing. What did other people think?2 points

The trailer is certainly intriguing. I am cautiously optimistic that this film will be a return to form. Hopefully a good mix of old and new. And I look forward to a darker tone.1 point

Oxygen- A return to form after the disappointing previous episode. Jamie Mathieson is an excellent writer for Who, and this episode is further proof of that. This is a very well written, tense, base-under-siege style story. The space setting certainly adds to the creepiness of the episode, and the "zombies" provide some great visual horror. The pacing is fantastic, as are the visuals. The key concept of this episode is very interesting, the idea that oxygen is a commodity. Although it is at times a very unsubtle slight against capitalism, the episode surrounding it is so good that I can forgive the lack of subtlety. As far as the acting goes, the core trio are great, and Pearl especially gets some really good moments to show off her acting ability. The supporting cast are fine, although there isn't much depth to their characters, but that's more of a writing fault than an acting one. Spoiler- The twist reveal that The Doctor is still blind at the end of this episode gave me chills when I saw it for the first time. It's such an interesting way to take this character, and we haven't seen it done like this before on since, giving him a lasting physical impairment for multiple stories. Overall- 9/10. This is a very well made episode, with excellent visuals, an intelligent and fast paced script, and some intense sequences. My only issues really are the relatively simple supporting characters, and the occasional lack of subtlety regarding the episode's core theme and message.1 point

Thank you and yes, it was great. It was my third time trying to meet David, I finally managed it and it was well worth the wait. He was amazing. Only Capaldi and Whittaker left now.1 point

Hi Showmasters! Would it be possible to approach Billy Zane's team for him to attend LFCC next year? He has started doing comic cons in the US & Europe in the last year. Thanks1 point
