Tickets for each days free talks on the MAIN STAGE will be handed out from 9am, close to the entrance of the main stage. Tickets are not needed for the free talks and events on the second stage, simply turn up close to the start time.

The schedule for the THIRD STAGE will be posted shortly.

Any photoshoot tickets not sold online will be available from Friday evening from the sales table close to the front door (along with vouchers to pay for autographs by credit card).

If you have a standard entry ticket but your photoshoots start before 11am you can upgrade your entry ticket on the door. Simply join the pay on day queue and pay the extra to upgrade or alternatively visit the ticket office the day before to upgrade for the next day (eg. on Friday evening for Saturday or Saturday afternoon for Sunday).

If you find you have several photoshoots happening at the same time just talk to one of the crew members in the photo areas and they will advise you of the best order to go to them in.

Get one of the two refunded.

Sorry for the sarcasm, I understand how difficult can be organising a big event like London Film ComicCon and I have always shown my appreciation (in the forum and in presence) for the hard work by Showmasters and their crew but I can't help thinking about two things that, to my humble opinion, are to be corrected/changed.

1- clashes between photoshoots and/or talks. There must be a better way of getting to these without developing a headache or multiplying oneselves into two or more persons. :D

2-photoshoots and talks taking place before the standard opening. I believe some people can be penalised as not all can get to London at 9.00. It is ok to give early birds a chance to get to see the stalls and grab virtual queue tickets before the others but all fans/customers should be given the same chance to attend all photoshoots/talk they can (especially if they have already paid for them). :(

In my case, there is no way I can be in London before 11.00 and I will miss a few talks and photoshoots; yet, I will be there for the standard entry.

Having said that, I will always support Showmasters and appreciate the remaining 99% of the things you do but I wanted to underline such difficulties. :P

I'am a bit surprised with Cary Tagawa being 9.30am on the saturday.

I was expecting a photoshoot where you can only buy a ticket for at the event itself to be placed later in the day...

Coming with the 1st Eurostar of the day i only arrive at the venue around 9am on the saturday morning.

Then you have to take into consideration the time it will take to get in (even with a prepaid ticket, queue is usually huge!) AND the queue that will take place at the photoshoot tickets sales desk!

I don't see how i can get a ticket on time for his photoshoot! And i know a lot of overseas visitors will come with that Eurostar and have the same problem! Not everyone can attend the Friday night preview...

Any advise from SM on how to deal with that??

Leave home earlier - maybe on the Friday night instead??! I mean seriously - what do you want SM to do, rearrange the timetable to suit you?

hi Bergman

1- clashes between photoshoots and/or talks. There must be a better way of getting to these without developing a headache or multiplying oneselves into two or more persons. :D

(we help people that have clashes every year and if you ask a crew member for help they will help you thats what they are there for , it works on the day and we very rarely here of people missing one or the other .)

:WINCE:

(there is only so much we can do , we add another photo shoot room and that means there are more photo ops going on over the weekend but as you say things clash each other from time to time but it means we do have more time over the day to have them take place , but if we only did only them between between 11.30 to 6pm we would not get them all in .)

(so we would have to just do away with offering around 40% of the photo ops people want , we cannot win on this one , people want photo shoots from a lot of our guest and there is only so much time in the day , all i can say is that for the past few years people get there photo ops with out to much issue and if you think you may have an issues please do ask for help at the photo shoots as we can help and we do manage to get 99.9 % of people though and get what they need .)

Having said that, I will always support Showmasters and appreciate the remaining 99% of the things you do but I wanted to underline such difficulties. ;)

we are aware of this but some times there is very little you can do , thank you for the support though

Feel free to offer me the Eurostar ticket for the Friday evening (if you want then i'll have one for the Saturday morning for sale, we can arrange) as well as the extra hotel night then, you smart guy!

I'm not asking SM to rearrange the time schedule for me and am not even moaning, i'm just asking for an advise and hope SM and moderators are smarter enough to understand my point.

It's not just about me, i'm sure other people coming from abroad will have the same problem.

If there's no way i can get a ticket on time i'll skip that one, i won't die but once again, i would have expected photoshoots for which you could not buy your ticket in advance to be later in the day, just to allow some time to sell tickets at the venue itself.

I love it how some people can just jump in on a random post and bash its author just because they feel like they need to do so! Jesus... :D

we have two photoshoots that clash with talks we want to go to - if we go to the photoshoot area first and speak to a member of the team, is there chance we could go first so we can do both?

sorry if this has been asked previously

Do you know how long it takes for photos to be ready, my Natalia Tena photoshoot is at 3.35 and I don't want to be back too late. Is there anyway of getting a photo sent to you?

Usually, it takes about 2 hours after the end of the photosession for the pictures to be back. That's the first time there's so many photoshoots scheduled though, so i'm not sure if the usual schedule will be respected this time (i guess they'll try to stick to it but...)

If you have to leave and your pic is not back, you can get it posted to you. You'll just have to fill a paper with a description of yourself, your adress (of course) and the guest you were with, and pay a small fee for P&P (2 or 3 GBP i think?)

Have noticed that there are two photo shoots scheduled for the same time at photo area C on Saturday. Both Georgina Leonidas and Anna Shaffer are down for 1.10 pm. Are they doing a joint photoshoot or is it an error?

Come speak to the crew at the Photoshoot - they may be able to squeeze you in the front so you don't miss both - the alternative is to see if the Organiser's Booth can do a swap for the Sunday.

Hope this helps.

Michelle

My Robert Knepper and Harry Melling photoshoot are on the exact same time :D

What do you think I should do :/

Go to Harry Melling one first as this will be the quieter of the two - speak to the crew, they'll do their best to get you to both.

Hope this helps.

Michelle
