Ashton is not only a top character actor, but someone I've wanted to meet for a very long time, and never thought SM would consider inviting him along. This is the type of guest SM was made for! PS any chance of Charles Grodin too

I hope I'm wrong in saying I don't think she will attend, however I am lead to believe that she doesn't like flying either. I know she doesn't like flying; but she does it. She came across for the launch of Sister Act musical a couple of years ago. So if she has to fly, she will. She's also said in the past she hasn't attended many cons as she doesn't get asked...

DICK VAN DYKE!! Has anybody seen the Disneyland 60 Special, broadcast this week, celebrating 60 years of Disneyland? Dick, at 90 years old, is still energetic, still singing and dancing and loving meeting the public. I know over the past couple of years, he's been on the signing circuit in the States, so please Showmasters, invite him along. PS I hear Julie Andrews would be a pretty popular guest too!

Great post and totally agree. For MJF, I'd pay between £150 and £200 for a guaranteed autograph, but not really too keen on paying £445 for all the 'add ons'. I don't want T-shirts that will never be worn and prints that'll end up in a cupboard. I also want the Delorean shoot (which isn't included in the Diamond pass) rather than the standard photoshoot. So for me personally, this type of Diamond Pass, isn't great value. ...but guaranteed autograph tickets? COUNT ME IN!

What exactly is the 'validation' fee? What does the fee cover? The tickets are now printed at home, there are no postage costs, the workload is reduced on SM. If anything there should be a reduction as the customer is doing all the work; it sounds like a bit of a ruse to me!! It's like trying to charge customers extra for using a self-service checkout at a supermarket....

Hoping it's an 80's/retro guest! Let the guessing games begin........

From memory, the gold and silver Sharpies must be stored a certain way. I think i read somewhere when the pens are not in use, they should always be stored vertically with the nib down, to stop them drying out. I highly recommend the paint pens if you can track them down; they give a great contrast, especially on a dark writing surface.
