If they were a sucess like people say I doubt SM would let the complainers stop them being invited back. Models appear at other cons too like at the *****. Maybe they or other models have been invited back but declined or were busy but I highly doubt its cos people complained about the nature of their work and even if it was cos of the nork flashing then that was down to the one individual model. However, as I said originally, I'm not sure what place they have in this event. I can think of many 'babes' that I'd like to meet. However, invariably it's for something else they have done besides just their looks and figure. Case in point - Jeri Ryan. Bottom line is, I don't have any interest in paying £10 to get a signature from a girl, purely because she's got a massive pair of knockers. But in a nutshell, it's an American restaurant where all the waitresses have to wear a uniform of really small hotpants and tight tops. If you just mean that they had low cut tops on then I wonder how you would have reacted to some of the slave leias at a recent star wars convention. I think the models in question have more of a place at an event like this that the sports stars. At least they were the models used by a fantasy artist so it comes under the banner as sci-fi/fantasy. Think the sports section has just been tacked on because sportsmania was poorly attended and they don't warrant their own show. Have suggested this before but if people are worried about their little jack or chloe (or whatever the fashionable names are this year) being corrupted by the sight of a womans cleavage why not just have them behind a bit of a barrier like they do with the big guests like Elijah Wood etc. Failing this, how about a dedicated glamour model show. nosfer2 Posted July 27, 2007 Share Posted July 27, 2007 These kinds of guests don't really interest me (I'm married!), but I thought I'd make a suggestion: the first couple of times I went to an event in Brum they had an area where there were black drapes and signs saying 'No under 18s'. Plus I don't think being an adult film star makes somone a 'slapper' doing that kind of work has meant that LDM has been able to retire at the age of 28. I wasn't saying all glamour models are slappers - that would be completely untrue, unfair, and completely not what I was saying. On the contrary, I was specifically talking about LDM. Lets just quickly run through a few key points of her career, as noted on Wikipedia: She starting glamour modelling at 15, having her first topless photo's in the Daily Sport on her 16th birthday. At the age of 16, she did a successful don't read, mods please delete video involving various incestuous activities with her sister. At the age of 16 again, she had an affair with a married footballer 10 years older than him, including allegedly "romping" with him on the bonnet of his BMW. Through her 20s she performed in hard core don't read, mods please delete of various different types, and had affairs with numerous footballers. She has been convicting of drink driving. In 2004 she had yet another affair with a married footballer, breaking up his marriage. I don't mean to be cruel to her, but what's your definition of a slapper?
