WHO is your favourite Doctor?

Just cos I'm wonderin. Me and my MUm were discussing this the other day, he favourite was Patrick, I think my favourite was Sean Pertwee saying that I grew upwith Peter Davidson.

I don't really know any of the other doctors and Chistopher Eccleston is doing a great job :) so I voted for him.

Good poll, but a few mistakes if it's not cheeky !

 

1. It was JON Pertwee, not his son Sean.

2. There is no "d" in Peter's surname.

3. You forgot Paul McGann !!

Voted for Tom Baker. He made the part his own and the character became more alien. He's also a very nice bloke in real life.

Heartily agree with the comments about Tom Baker - he dominated the role for 7 glorious years.

 

BUT, don't underestimate the genius that was Patrick Troughton. A glorious chamelion of an actor who had the toughest job persuading the public to accept a new Doctor for the first time. He gets my vote.

Tom Baker is the Doctor - I think it's pretty much universally recognised. Get the DVD or wathc Uk Gold!!

Difficult to chose though, as each actor bought a different element to the character that made their Doctor unique and stand out. In the end, I voted for Tom Baker as he was the Doctor of my childhood!
