Hi peeps just wanderd if anyone has any pics to post of themselfs or others in costume, I loved all the ones I saw. I didn't get any pics and would love to see other people's. I was there dressed as Qui Gon Gin. Naomi

I'll be McGonagall, I've been talking to Jay aka Cedric aka Bill and thought it would be cool.

You know after watching it again, I think it does have quite a complex plot, but its cleaverly subtle, so its not noticable the first time. I found after watching it again I noticed allot more. I think it was an episode which explored the idea of the Doctor's lonely life, after they touched on it in School reunion and how he can never get close to his companions, because they will die and he still lives on. It was, in a way a more speeded up representation of this (ie all in one episode) And as has been said already it told us of his lonely childhood as well. I think that the Doctor has so many assistants because of his need for companionship, but he lets them go when he gets too close to them. And after loosing all of the Time Lords, it is more important to him than ever. I wonder if the reason he has let Mickey come allong, is so he can let Rose go, gently, and Mickey is there to help Rose when it happens. I loved this Saturday's eppisode, excelent cybermen! Naomi

And for some reason on the Thursday we were going down to CM I decided that Tennant is now called Fishcake, although as Elli pointed out, surely Patrick Troughten should have that nickname! Naomi

I wasn't entirely sure about this episode either. I spent quite allot of time thinking "Where the hell did that horse come from, how is it still alive/ come through a portal etc etc" rather than concentrating on the plot. I didn't like the Doctor's relationship with Reinette, it seemed really one sided, and considering how much time they actually spent together I was supprised that she thought she new the Doctor that well. I was also a bit supprised that he wanted to take her with him, and it was a bit stupid him leaving her there thinking he could just pop back for her. I thought that the reason the clockwork men were doing it was good, and I liked the fact that we found out it was all because of the ship's name, but I thought the way we found out was a bit lame, I dunno, it all seemed a bit predictable and although Tennant played it well, I felt that the emotional parts had no real depth to them, and did not really seem apropriate. I dunno, I think that maybe they are going down hill a bit compared to the stories Eccleson had, but I do love Tenant as the Doctor and I hope that the scripts and stories get a bit better for him. I'm also not too sure about Micky being there, but I think he needs a few more episodes before I deside about him. anyhoo, heres hoping this Saturday's episode will be as good if not better than Chris's stories Naomi

It does seem like a world away now. I have to say I loved being Rose, and I hope to reprise the role some time. I have worn my outfit many times to go shopping, just need to perswade Elli to wear her pinstripe suit lol! Will be great to see all your Rose outfits, I am so broke that if I can afford to come to C10, then I doubt I will have any new costumes, but you never know what could be adapted from what I have! I don't see why fancing the 10th should make her a "Tramp" afterall he's still the Doctor! anyway, I get the impession that their relationship is allot more of a having fun together like mates sort, but they do still have a history and with that comes a chemistry. I just hope Mickey doesn't become a bit of a third wheel. I feel that Rose is gonna have a hard time now, having to divide her time between the two men, I reckon one of them will have to give. Maybe her exit from the show will be her choosing Mickey in the end. Any way, enough rambling, I'm loving the new series and am left dieing for the next episode every week! Naomi

I read some where that is is going to be on in the Autumn, I do hope we don't have to wait too long for it though, I really liked Jack. Naomi

Thats true, once we noticed the Bad wolf thing last year, any mention did seem more obvious, I still think its a bit too obvious though. I suppose they are also starting to explain how it came about and stuf, so we know by the time it starts. Naomi

If we come in in costume can we get a discount too? I'm coming in to stock up on oreos anyway, but a nice discount would help my wallet somewhat. Naomi

I do think its a bit blatent. I think that the whole Badwolf thing last series was really well done, but they are blatently trying to plug their spin off series. If they were more subtle like last series I think it would almost be a better advert, like the saying less is more. Was a good episode though, that aside. Naomi

I keep getting confused which days we are doing which costumes (Elli please corect me if Im wrong) but I beleve Sunday I was gonna go as Hermione right? If that is the case then I am costumeless on the Sunday, so I can be your Rose if you want Rickman.
