Alx
From what I remember last time I was at LFACC in EC, there was around 50% of the hall in use for LFACC, behind that was another 50% that was dead space, so I put great faith in SM, and am sure that their plans and intentions are not to make London FILM AND COMIC CON into a gaming only event. It makes sense that if other parties are interested in working with you to grow your event to take that opportunity and not take away from what your aims are. This just opens up the event to a new market, whislt not taking away from the existing markets. With regards to the talks, If I remember correctly, the massive screens from Hot Fuzz (at Gmex1 or 2)didnt stop people from hearing at the talks, and that was a smaller venue, with worse acoustics. All should be fine guys, dont worry. Have faith, and dont expect everything that SM do to suit your personal preference, because if that happened then you would only have you turning up to the show, which would give a rubbish atmosphere. Moderators DavidB Posted May 13, 2009 Moderators Share Posted May 13, 2009 Everyone is a fan of something different, and I'm sure no one wants any of this turning into anyone attacking a certain group of fans. In the end, we're all entitled to come along and enjoy the events equally. There's clearly no intention of changing the level of guests attending, so I don't think it's going to be a problem. The only 'problem' there'll be is if we turn this into fan warfare or something.

It's all relative isn't it - to some people retro means Missile Command, but to a lot of people who go to these events as Count Fooku says 'retro' means 2005 :) To me, this is retro : - Edited May 14, 2009 by MikeDonovan

Only saying I'll miss guests cause I'll be spending far too much time on DDR instead as I haven't had a good session on DDR for a while. Can't wait though, you have a fantastic guest selection and now DDR. Just need to organise my time now. Lol
