  1. Not 100% on the DDR machine currently, I believe there were complaints about how loud it was last time so yeah... I do know that we have some pretty nice, quite usable metal pads for DDR though.
  2. There were 3 Wii actually. I'm one of the people heading up the VG stuff so I'm going to start looking into this sort of thing in more detail around beginning of May - Uni exams. Hope we can provide a great service and have another great response like last year. :)
  3. This Starscream girl? who I caught doing a Megan Fox on Bumblebees Bonnet lol, Hell yeah! Found her dA and complimented her there.
  4. To us this was excellent news, hopefully showmasters will heed your call. - Thank you! - I don't think a LAN setup would have been appropriate considering the event. - As FreeSaiyan has said, it made it more fair on other people - we were going to use another system but I'm glad we didn't. - If it was by Valve it would have to be on Xbox 360 - which would be Left 4 Dead or Orange Box - these could certainly be arranged. I too hope we can expand on the tournament and with a year to go me and the other provider of most of the older console can expand on our collection of games.
  5. I spotted you, too bad you didn't come over to the VG section - we had a copy of Tomb Raider.
  6. I think your sons costume was very good! He spent a fair amount of time in the Video Game section.
  7. I bought: http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN922248 for £8 http://www.hlj.com/product/KYD01052 for £10 Both were bargains to me all things considered. £1.80 for a 7up wasn't such a great deal though, but oh well! And I bought a fair amount of japanese food. :)
  8. That SNES was my own. :) Glad you enjoyed it, It was great seeing peoples faces light up playing Mario or Sonic 2 on Mega Drive. I'm looking to get my Atari 2600 up and running, and maybe buy some more cartridge games for my C64 - the tape loader is FAR TOO SLOW. Hopefully we'll be given more TVs next year or something like that so we can have a more varied amount, we played it safe this year as it was our first. So far feedback has been good and we're all very pleased. Thank you for your kind words.
  9. We're sorry about that, the machine was rented and all of the controls are inside the machine door which was locked from us. We'll definitely take into consideration it's location in future, and keeping the volume down - it doesn't really need to be as loud as it was.
  10. I thought it was decent, I didn't see much crowding at all.
  11. Starscream Girl! Whoever you are, with your Masterpiece Megatron, I salute you! I really need to get me a DSLR for these events.
  12. As I'm sure you're now aware real Mega Drives were provided, 3 in fact and it was a speed run. And people were given the option for Brawl. I believe the tournaments were rather successful. :)
  13. Well, my own has full arcade parts and has a PlayStation controller PCB and a wired 360 controller PCB inside. I'll try get my hands on a Mad Catz SE then I'll bring them - would make the tournament more fun. Of course if people preferred to use a pad that's fine too.
  14. Well, ideally so is the PS3 pad. An arcade stick would be ideal, and can be provided but that wouldn't be fair on the opponent using the Xbox 360 controller.
  15. There will be an array of games to play when there isn't a tournament going on. These games are all very simple so prior knowledge isn't required. Of course you'd be at a disadvantage to someone who has played it before, but that applies to everything. And Free, it's just Super Smash Bros. Brawl - no Mario in the title.
