What has happened with the guest announcements? There hasn't been one for awhile and to think this event is in May, getting a little worried that it is mainly going to be about sports people. I believe that after a fair few complaints that is was unfair that they were different prices, they made it more fair. By putting LeVar up to £20. God L'Eponge Posted February 26, 2011 Share Posted February 26, 2011 (edited) I just went on the online shop to order my photoshoot tickets for Lou Diamond Phillips and David Blue for the sunday but... there's only tickets for saturday and monday I know guests are not always making a shoot on every day but is is the case here or is it a mistake and tickets for sunday will be added? Because imo it's guests of this calibre that would need a shoot every day they attend. Even Gates McFadden - who apparently is not fond of the photo flashes - is having a shoot on all 3 days... I think last year it was the same for two guests, but I can't remember right now. We've had it happen that shoots were added though, so nothing is impossible. I'll suggest to the office that they add the days of the photoshoot in the list above. For Gates they may have split the number of usual shoots over three days to make it easier for her. Thanks for the reply, i think it would be a good thing to add photoshoot days indeed. I have a friend that can only make it on sunday and he would just come for Lou Diamond Phillips. If he's not doing a shoot on that specific day, and with photos over the table maybe not allowed then there's no reason for him to attend anymore. But that friend of mine can only make it on sunday, and is a LDP big fan. It would be weird for him to go on sunday to meet him and not being able to get a pic with him. Moreover, i find it a bit nonsense not to have a shoot on all days a guest is attending when it's such a popular one... and that situation also refrains me from buying a ticket for the monday shoot if a sunday one is added later and i would rather go for that one (which indeed is a situation that already happened before)... It could be simply that the guest does not want to participate in a photo shoot session on every day. It could also be that space has to be left in the schedule for future guests that can only take part in photo shoot on a specific day (i.e. Sunday). Queen_Sindel Posted February 26, 2011 Share Posted February 26, 2011 That's why sometimes shoots are added later, if a guest is really popular one and does sell out (or is close to selling out) the shoots that have been scheduled. What 1of2 has mentioned is another reason, that they need to leave room for more photo shoots for potential other guests. Once we are closer to the event and it's clear that there's only going to be a handful of guests more added it's easier to say "hey, we can squeeze another Sunday one in here." I realize it sucks when a shoot is on a day you (or in that case a friend) can not make. But it is just not doable that everyone can have a shoot on every day.
