Jola
I didn´t get a e-mail confirmation on my purchase. Aren´t I supposed to get one? You should have. Did you take a note of your confirmation number? My suggestion would be to ring SM on 01234 752485 to confirm if your order went through or not. A common problem with this, is that people are inputting their email address incorrectly. Your order more than likely has gone through but you've not received it due to this error. You can always email info@collectormania.com and I can check for you.

The on-line shop does not automatically take the money. The shop just stores you card details and then Jola processes the orders. It should be within the next week. If it's not been done in say 2 weeks time, send an mail to info@showmastersonline.com and make it for the attention of Jola and she'll help you. be_insane
Where can I park in MK? In the middle, to the left of the map, just under the EasyCinema you'll see a secure car park (the blue 'P'). This is £2 for the day on weekends and £3 for the day during the week. I believe that it doesn't open until 9am on weekends though so not so great if you're getting an early start. Hey Too Tall... Just scanned your FAQs and saw this.... I use this car park when i go to CM and think some slight updates are needed... I seem to remember the price has now increased, so it is £3 at weekends as well (not sure about weekdays) Also, we always arrive around 8:15am (saturdays) and have never had problems getting into it... so think the 9am open can be scrapped! ----- Addition -------- Ok just found this further information, yes things have changed... The multi storey car park behind the Point has 300 spaces and the opening times are as follows- Monday-Friday 08:00 - 22:00, Saturday and Sundays 08:00 - 20:00 It costs the following: Upt to 1 hour - 50p Up to 3 hours - £1.00 Over 3 hours - £3.00 per day Edited January 19, 2007 by be_insane
buffy2k
Can anyone tell me if any of the photoshoots on saturday are likely to start before lunchtime say 12pm. I have purchased several photo tickets for James and want one for Tony Head as well but my group are travelling from london Saturday morning and not likely to arrive till lunchtime as there are no trains before then. I have done shoots before but always in the afternoon, i dont want to waste my money on tickets if they are all going to be in the morning when we wont be there. Any ideas anyone? We need to cancel our hotel for friday night in london if they are in the morning and see if we can rearrange to come straight from james concert on the friday night to Mk. knowing a couple of weeks before on this isnt going to be any good as the hotels will be full by then if we have to change our booking - please help. Many thanks nicky x
Showmasters Admin Too Tall Posted January 19, 2007 Showmasters Admin Share Posted January 19, 2007 be_insane - Thanks for the update I will sort that out when I get back from holiday. buffy2k - As far as I can remember all the photo shoots so far have been in the afternoon or at least after 11:30am. I suggest you email SM - info@showmastersonline.com - and ask them, they will not be able to tell you the specific times at this time so don't ask. Just ask them to confirm that the photo shoots you want will be in the afternoon.

TommyT
my group are travelling from london Saturday morning and not likely to arrive till lunchtime as there are no trains before then. No trains from London that will get you to MK before lunchtime on the Saturday? Either I am misunderstanding you, or somebody has given you some duff info. Go to http://www.networkrail.co.uk/browse%20docu...les/Table66.pdf Go to page 13, which is the Saturday timetable for Saturdays starting 31 March. Ignoring the night trains (which leave at 0034 and 0200), the first train service from Euston leaves at 0525, and gets to MK Central about three quarters of an hour later. There are 13 more trains leaving Euston between 0531 and 0854, all of which will have you at MK Central before 10am (Obviously well before 10am if you get the earllier ones ). Then there's a 0935 (arr MK Central 1005), a 0950 (arr 1020), a 0924 (slower service, arr 1023), another slowie at 0954 (arr 1049), a 1012 that gets in at 1044, and over on page 14, if you are really pushing it, a 1020 that gets in at 1104 and a 1035 that gets you in at 1105. Those last two should just about give you time to get a cab from the station to the Centre just in time for an 1130 shooting. Hope that helps. buffymon
How long should I have to wait for a reply from showmasters? I´ve emailed them now three times, and it´s been weeks between every mail. I still havn´t heard back from them. My question is about an order I´ve placed and paid for, but havn´t gotten an email confirmation for.

crippsy_99
In section 7 it says How can I get to MK cheap? Thanks again to Surfy_Sah for the info. If you book early both the Megabus and the EasyBus are very cheap Just to let you know, from 11th march megabus are no longer serving MK, ive posted about it in the general chat section http://showmastersonline.com/forums/index....showtopic=31526
nosfer2
That's annoying - I planned to go by train to the last Collectormania but there was engineering work so I had to use the coaches they laid on which meant it took longer to get there. I was going to just get the Megabus instead next time.

SunSpeed
I was looking for the Questions thread but forgot where it was the last time I posted in it. I wanted to ask about the likelihood of most of the guests appearing on the Friday, when it should be more quieter than the Saturday and Sunday.
Moderators DavidB Posted March 9, 2007 Moderators Share Posted March 9, 2007 It's more likely that the majority of guests will attend on the Saturday and Sunday simply because they are the busiest days, so more people will be there to meet them. At past events, there have been a fair few guests there on a Friday, but certainly less than on other days. Monday is also a quiet day too. I wouldn't recommend anyone relies just on a Friday trip to any event really, though obviously it depends on who you want to meet.
SunSpeed
I asked about a Friday because I prefer it when it's not so crowded, and it was terrible the lack of air in the place at C10. I think it puts the guests off when you go up to meet them and you're constantly wiping your brow and face. Hopefully it will be a cold and cloudy outside during C11 so it won't be so hot inside. Moderators DavidB Posted March 10, 2007 Moderators Share Posted March 10, 2007 Yeah, Friday is a lot more relaxed and comfortable It honestly depends who you wanna meet really. Obviously meet as many as poss on the quiet day, and then you won't have to worry too much on any other day. It'll probably be fairly warm as the shopping centre's often like a greenhouse, and there's so many people there
SunSpeed
Well at the moment the only people who I want to see are James Marsters and Michael Winslow. I thought you were going to say something which was said to me after C10 when I posted in the C10 folder my comments on the lack of air in the shopping centre (I dread replies from other posters on here when I'm posting some comments about where Collectormania is held, about the heat of the place and the air). I remember the poster saying it's down to the shopping centre and not Showmasters. Which I can understand. You're only hiring the place out (hope I have that right). Showmasters Admin Too Tall Posted March 12, 2007 Showmasters Admin Share Posted March 12, 2007 SM do just hire out the hall so the over all temp in the building is still down to the Centre to control. I'm not sure James will be at the show on Friday. I know he has a concert on in London Friday evening and so it's unlikely he'll be at the show Friday. Also apparently his official site says he's at the show Sat-Mon.

buffy2k
Yes James will be entertaining us in London on Wednesday - Friday he is going to be at Mk on SAturday -Monday with us lot in tow! poor him. You need to q early for any of the buffy guests Sunday i think will be the busiest day. I'd go for Saturday as lots of fans coming back from london may not arive till later. Last time James came we had people queuing overnight to see him sunday/monday as all the tickets were sold within minutes for autos. I would guess Charisma will be popular too.
