Does anyone know what happened with his photo shoot last thing today? Just before my photo he said he had to go but there were still a few people behind me. As i left the people who hadn't gone in were told they couldn't get there photos taken. Probably about 20/30 people looked very upset and angry

I would imagine they were offered to get their photo tomorrow if they are still attending.

I feel for the people that didn't get their photo, especially if they can't attend tomorrow but he had one heck of a queue plus the talk and all the signing he was very busy and it must be hard work with all the attention he has to give his fans for hours at a time.  He was absolutely lovely when I met him, even though the photo sessions are lightening speed, it still felt personal. Seeing him tomorrow again for my duo shoot with Mads.

Yes we were, and told we would be let through before Diamonds tomorrow (so if any DP holders see that happening, please don't get stroppy :P). Personally I went and upgraded to the Madsedict double shoot, as BC shoot was 'no poses, no hugs'. I want my blooming hug, so I'll hug Mads and Benedict can just watch.

And you get an exception granted for the photo upload rule too if that happens.

I was in the morning and everything was fine. I was dressed as Anna and before we had pic taken he turned to me and looked at me and asked "are you a Snow White?" And I said "no, I am Anna. " and he went like "Of course you are!". We had the pic and he said "you look wonderful. Brilliant costume." I said "thank you" and died inside.

I was one of those in the queue (of about 30 people) that got turned away. I think 30 of us, it would have taken him about 10-mins to get through, so was very disappointed.

Also, the Sales desk was miles long and they said if I didn't get my refund sorted there and then, I wouldn't get it (which I think is a bit unfair). I had to get my train home, so couldn't stay. So that was me losing £70 odd quid.

Luckily a lovely girl said for me to give her my ticket and she'd sort it out for me, Which she did and I will eternally be thankful for.

I get he has a huge schedule and I totally understand he would be tired out... but to just leave like that was heart breaking for us waiting in the queue. I still love the dude... but i'm very disappointed in him.

I understand, I'd be gutted if it was me and I'd be angry if I was told I couldn't get a refund, because I didn't have time to wait in a long queue. Maybe he shouldn't have been given that many batches with what he had to do in one day, he doesn't seem the sort who would deliberately disappoint his fans, he must have hit a brick wall.

Was he really no poses or hugs? I've seen a couple of shoots on twitter where he's posed.

I thankfully got in the morning shoot (batch 4). He was so friendly and polite with the short time we had. Really lovely.

Now it's not often I moan about experiences on here but I feel I have to.

I was diamond pass yesterday so went in as normal and got all the virtual tickets I needed then went back to get my pass. This was only around 10.30am so not late by any means. I got to the front of the queue and got my lanyard and pass however I was told they had ran out of prints... how did this happen? I asked the bloke who was meant to be in charge of giving out the passes and he just shrugged his shoulders. I asked if there were any more for Sunday and he said no. He offered me another print instead so that was something I guess.

I assume as these passes were numbered they knew how many to print so how on earth do you run out?

Sorry for the rant it's just I was not a happy boy. At least I got to meet him and get a photo and autograph......

I was in the afternoon shoot and when I was in the photo area I saw him do poses but he still had a massive queue to get through so maybe it had to stop.

That's something I'd appreciate staff to agree on for next time. When I was about to go for my photo I was told "no touching, arms on your side".  When I went in I saw the people in front of me puting an arm around Benedict (which looks far better for a photo) and he was shaking hands so I was confused by the no touching, arms on sides rule. I asked a staff member there if it was ok to put my arm around him as everybody else was doing it and she said: "yeah I know but I'd rather you didn't do it" so I didn't,  and even Benedict looked confused by my standing there next to him with my arms on my side,he looked so uncomfortable, probably thinking it was me who didn't like touching, he barely put a hand on my shoulder and that's it. Really quite frustrating for me :(

That's really bizarre. What time did you go for your shoot, AM or PM?

In at the start of the double shoot just now, we were told BC was feeling sick so he doesn't want any touching. Photos start and he's putting arms round people. The crew were as surprised and relieved as everyone in the queue. No handshakes though.

What tends to happen is the specialist security tell the crew one thing, then the guest does another, either because of the security being too cautious, or the guest would prefer no (or minimal) touching but is too polite to refuse. I would think with BC today as long as you don't want a hug or something extravagant he'll be fine.

It wasn't a problem for me, as I had no intention of touching ol' Benny.

The important question is... did you hug Mads? ;)

I was in the Venue by 9.10am yesterday and was worried particularly about fitting his Auto in as had 2 other diamonds plus 3 more photo ops and Matt Lucas Auto to get. Turns out I needn't have worried as despite having a high DP for Benedict (in the 300's) I think I was in his Line and out by about 9.20am, no personalisation as expected and brief but he made eye contact and spoke to everyone and in my case checked using a gold pen was fine and then thanked me and told me to enjoy my day, can't expect more than that given his workload for day. Then in the AM shoot he was courteous to everyone again, shaking hands and accommodating poses and in most cases as a minimum putting his arm around you or hand on shoulder and everyone I saw got atleast a hello and when walking off a bye or thanks. That's a lot more than some do. Overall I'm happy with my experience but sorry for those that didn't fare so well in the afternoon. I do agree he shouldn't have had so many activities to accommodate on the Saturday though.

on the whole very happy with my DP as had all 3 of my Saturday only guests autos by 9.35am.

I was in batch 25, got my photo done about 545. When I was in the photo area there was a guy, could have been his agent/manager, telling the pit boss that he had to be somewhere by 720 so needed to start wrapping up. They really started speeding up then to try and accomidate everyone. I think they under-estimated the amount of people tbh. Anyway, lovely man, said hello, shook my hand and said thank you, i burbled some nonsense back like a star struck idiot.
