Adding up costs

Recommended Posts

I'm up to about £800 too including hotel food and train, plus got photo shoots and autos! last year I spent £500 this year i'm spending more and seeing less guests as the guests I want cost more plus I want more than one auto from them!

  • Gold Pass £175
  • Jason Momoa x3 autographs (2x 8x10 + GoT poster) - £60
  • Michael Shanks x2 autographs (2 8x10) + Photo Shoot £60
  • Amanda Tapping x2 autographs (2 8x10) + Photo shoot £75
  • Amanda Tapping and Michael Shanks joint photo shoot £50
  • Louise Jameson autograph £10
  • Colin Baker autograph £15
  • Jane How autograph £10
  • Kenny Baker autograph x5 autograph (11x14 officialpix photos) £75 + photo shoot £15

Total £545 give or take, it's too early in the morning and i'm only on the first coffee

The train costs me no more than £20 to get into london, the hotel will be about £250 again!

Plus the 6 months worth of announcements to come ;)

It always amazes me how much people spend at these events. I'm fortunate that I live near to London, so travel is relatively cheap to get there and no hotel required, although I do only tend to go up for one day. I do now also tend to take my older son with me, so have to pay for him as well, so roughly will be about:

Travel - £25

Entrance - £24 (Think that is about right for two early bird tickets)

Photoshoots

Avery Brooks (x2) - £50

Linda Hamilton (x1) - £20

Autographs

Budget of about £200

Stalls

Budget of about £100

And we take our own packed lunch !

So all in all £419 approx.

Mind you, compared to what I have spent at some shows in the past, this will be on the low side.

I usually spend £500-£1000 on guests for autos and photoshoots without travel etc but this year not so many different guests to get this year just more to spend on the few guests I am interested in such as Maryse - MANOFHONOUR.

I live in London and have a work travelcard so my travel is free, and as a stallholder I get free entry. Then I usually get 4 or 5 photoshoots, maybe an autograph from someone really special and spend my stall profit on toys and bits from other stalls! It works for me :)
