He has also been in Green Mile and Shawshank so he would be a great guest if you could get him. You could get other Green Mile and Shawshank guests then like; Tom Hanks, Michael Clarke Duncan, David Morse, Doug Hutchinson, James Cromwell, Barry Pepper, Bonnie Hunt, Tim Robbins, Morgan Freeman and Frank Darabont. You need to remember as well that if too many big guests attend the event, people will need to spend money to meet all of them, where they would mostly end up short in money. Besides, I already met Tobe Hooper last year, so I wouldn't need to meet him again but he was a great guy. Steven Speilberg!, no chance in hell he would attend a convention lol! I know that some are highly unlikely and indeed, some that will never attend but it is always worth putting it out there! haha :) I know some have attended cons previously like John Landis and Tobe Hooper, and I met Romero in MK. Also, Scorsese is a regular Uni visitor in the UK so my fingers are always crossed for that next big announcement. Just think that more directors should be considered, I am an aspiring one myself and would love to get some tips from my idols; like I did with Romero. We already had Clive Barker attend London Film and Comic Con 2011, so there could be a chance for more film directors to attend future conventions. I met Ruggero Deodato, last May, where he was at Odeon Covent Garden for the re-release screening of Cannibal Holocaust. (I can't say the name of the event because this forum has an issue if I mention events that are nothing to do with showmasters). Although, I thought there would be no chance in hell for me to ever meet him, as I only read online about him attending U.S. conventions but it was a true miracle when he finally came to the UK.
