So how is everyone this morning?
madmilburn replied to Stenun's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2016
Lol same here. My friends and clients are clueless!! Only celebs they know is Kadashions, towie or made in chelsea. Arrrh annoying. At least i have you guys to share my good times withAll I got was you spent how much?? Nothing like people being stupid to give your post con blues that little extra ache. Hard to explain to people who have never been what a con is like. I know that one! One of my closest friends objects to the idea of paying for autographs and every time I mention a Con to her she tuts and sighs. She just can't seem to grasp it. :-) Perhaps you need to drag her to one con and maybe she'll change her mind and her perspective of it. I knew a few people that were like that and now they go every year. My friends think im nuts. They all refuse to go with me. But i have to suffer bloody V festival with them.(which is my idea of hell) Sorry you pay the same amount or even more to get pissed in a field with drunken idiot's.. pardon my french showmasters But anyway each to their own. I rather be gathered with cool people meeting my heros and having a good day out. I always say my money, I'll spend it it how I want. Plus, the chances of me meeting any of the guests back home on a night out aren't exactly great! -

Saw you floating around a couple times but wasn't able able to take a pic sadly. Superb costume! -
2nd time I've met him and just as nice! Little tired on the Friday as had flown in day before and thought (like many other people) that Saturday was going to be manic!! Seemed have time for everyone whenever I passed by.

Tumbler looked very shoddy!

its a 100% match I know im not the only one whos upset about the joint shoot that we paid so much money and the guy you get to take them cant seem to sort the lighting out. if you had paid £110 for a single photo im sure you would want it looking good, and "not bad" By the same token though I wouldn't say they were 'crap'. My mate had a shoot with Dolph in D on Sat & he says distinctly average.

Autographs and comic artists
madmilburn replied to Newera1/2's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2016
You pay for the number of items you want signed. So if you were getting Tobin Bell on a pic & a poster it would be £50. Vast majority of artists sign for free. -
Not looking too grand at moment & yet buy a ticket as a result but still time get some more guests.

The lovely Hayley atwell
madmilburn replied to dizzcostu007's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
She was alright, not outstanding but not a bad experience. Photoshoot on Saturday, said hello to me. Sunday morning got her auto and said she was alright & enjoying herself but long weekend, personalised my pic & gave eye contact. -
How many guests did you get to meet
madmilburn replied to jakers77777's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
Normal weekend tickets, got 19 autographs & 7 shoots. Had one cancelled shoot and did miss 4 auto's but 3 of my shoots were with them so not all bad. Christopher Lloyd only one totally missed out Also picked up two commissions from artists & Gary Frank's auto. -
Had lack of 10's on the Sunday morning (blame going pub) so with some the guests who were 15 was case handing 20+5 get the 10 change which then went guests who were 10. Did get some vouchers though as realised wasn't going have enough money though as ended up having get some sigs for a mate which hand't planned on. So bit bit more hap-hazard than usual but least meant avoided the long queues for the cash point. When there's one person waiting in front of me & the guest is seeing the person before them that's when I get my money out and at the same time try seeing the 10x8's choosing which one to get. If guest is away on lunch/photoshoot/talk ect that's usually a good time go & see what pics they have available.

Awesome Crew who are not Luke
madmilburn replied to stijn171's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
Lady dealing with Hayley Atwell's queue on the Sunday morning impressed me as did the bloke pit boss who was in charge of Hayley's queue later on in the day before she finished. He made sure people knew she was going be finishing and that you knew about it. The lad who was outside photoshoot E during Gemma Whelan's slot, and was very happy with the cricket score (sheer fluke mate! ), had that area well organised and people knew exactly what was happening. Big thumbs up to the pit boss and lady with blue streaks in her hair who had deal with a HUGE queue for Rose Leslie whilst waiting for her to come back from her 2nd shoot. Kept everyone informed of why there was the delay and got the queue orgainsed, hope both have been able put their feet up and relax with a good drink! Alice(?) who was with Roy Scammell when saw him, Bradford's a reasonable place, you'll be fine! -
Felt Luke did a reet canny job all things considered with the sheer number of people floating around for Attwell/Weaver/Gambon photoshoots. Having my specs with came in handy as stood well clear and kept eye on his sign inbetween reading my book.

Henry Cooper at first event I went to. Must've been a good12-18 months later before saw GOT. Somehow get the feeling she'll be alot more expensive than the £15 & £10 back then!
