  1. David, as a representative of showmasters, it's inappropriate to be insulting celebrities (let alone elected Presidents) by calling them a dick. Please leave derogatory insults to your own twitter. Part of a moderator's job is surely to set an example and stop insults, not be an instigator of them. As for the guest, God L'Eponge guess is as good as any.
  2. £15 is a very good price, well done Showmasters. I will definitely add her to my never-ending list...
  3. As you go into the event hall (queuing looks to be inside) Photo area A is at the top right (back) of hall. Photo area B is middle Left side about a minute walk... Most guests are down the right hand side of the hall so close to Photo A.
  4. At a con not long ago they did the car at an angle and Ernie and the attendee standing beside so all of the car and both subjects were in the photo. Looked great to be fair... Setup was similar in principle to this with Chris Lloyd and car https://ibb.co/fHGLfv
  5. If she had knee surgery last week and has cancelled an event the week before Collectormania, I'd be surprised if she will undertake a trans-atlantic flight in 2 weeks...
  6. The way batches work for big guests is simple. Everybody turns up at the start of the shoot. They call Diamond, Gold and then after what seems an age maybe the 1st batch. If it's your lucky number, it takes you about 10 minutes to fight through the swarm of people (batches 2-10) all waiting for their number to be called. When your batch is finally called, you will join the stampede to get into the queue. You will be continuously told to 'bunch up' by crew. Somehow this makes the photographer be able to take photos faster....all it accomplishes is making you even more hotter and sweatier, just in time for your perfect moment. When it's finally your turn for the photo, no doubt you will look five times worse than you did before you joined the queue in the first place!
  7. I keep hoping Showmasters consider changing this aspect of their photos. 1 ticket = 1, 2 or 3 people in a photo. Extra print £5
  8. Keep hoping one of these days I read Yvonne Strahovski's name in an announcement thread...
  9. Wishing all fellow attendees and Showmasters crew a very Merry Christmas.
  10. I've been using these pockets for years now: http://www.arrowfile.com/arrowfile-6-x-9-(4)-clear-acid-free-pocket-refills-prodre1523c/?keyword=6x9%20refill
  11. Would like to see some good British actors who aren't game of thrones or known for sy/fantasy roles. Martin Clunes. David Suchet. Matthew MacFayden. Hugh Bonneville. Daniel Mays. Nathaniel Parker. Ashley Jensen. Martin Shaw. Dougray Scott. Jessica Raine. Suranne Jones. Laurence Fox. Keith Allen.
  12. If I was really wanting a photo of Eric from Alien Nation, I'd pay £10 for a digital version of this photo. http://bit.ly/2buAd21 For personal use of course, I'd then get the 8x10 printed...
  13. Well I'm trying to think from an overall fan and guest perspective. In any case, I still think a schedule like this would have been a bit more fan and guest friendly: http://imgur.com/a/6RdDk
  14. No it will not be a mistake. There's no way for SM to plot the photoshoot timetable round indiviudal attendees needs as it just wouldnt happen. Yes, but you can plot the schedule far better than it currently is surely? I mean, prioritising cosplay photos and putting them on at a peak time from 1.15 to 2.45, and thus pushing back 10 photoshoots till after 3pm... in what bizarre world is this fan-friendly scheduling :) You could easily have swapped those shoots around. Push the cosplay till later in the day - it's a GUEST-oriented event after all, not a cosplay focussed event.
  15. It seems with regional shows that there are some after 11 up to lunchtime..then a break for a couple of hours and then another bunch in 3-5pm range. Just look at the sheffield one http://showmastersonline.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=92882 to get an idea. Been like that a number of events.

    Last Post Wins?

Sorry mate but I'm officially designating this thread as being:
  17. Just thought I'd point out that as an exhibitor I never once saw any dealers bags or stuff get searched at any time... Also on the Saturday at 8.15 inside the event a women asked where is it you are supposed to queue. This was a regular punter with eticket in hand who got in somehow and was wandering about.
  18. Got refund for the Joe friday just there... This is another aspect of LFCC that has improved, the refunds over last couple of years are a lot quicker and not had any issues.
  19. Broke a rib while filming her rough sex scene with Pierce brosnan and kept going Broke a rib filming on Hanzel & Gretel and kept going... Broke a rib on 27th July in New York from carrying a bag and umbrella under her arms and kept going: http://www.gettyimages.co.uk/license/583769288
  20. Those photos aren't that bad... The digital version might actually look better, but the prints sometimes come out a bit darker or lighter, maybe due to the driver settings.
  21. 10th Lfcc in a row and overall one of the best. Good lineup, good layout and an ample amount of spacing.
