Would love to have a puddle jumper cockpit

There weren't many things I had a problem with at 8.1, plus everyone seemed really good natured, but . . . 1. Please could we have at least one bar open upstairs. 2. I know that the order of autograph tables is on the schedule, but I don't carry mine around with me all the time - could we have the flip-charts with whose queue it is back again please. 3. It would be great to have a list of what's going to be auctioned either in our con pack or even just posted on here as a locked post a week or so before. Looking forward to 8.2

Totally agree. It was great to have the 20% discount but it proved pretty hairy carrying said discounted drink back upstairs whether you used the lift or the stairs. Personally I'd have given up the discount in order to have the bars upstairs!

My friends and I got up at 4am to get our tickets on Sunday morning, we got Gold 7, 8 and 9. Couldn't pass that up with Joe and Robert announced. Now I just have to wait 10 months dammit!!!!!!!! Lol

Hi Everyone's really friendly at these events. I went to my first one on my own, that was years ago now and I now go with friends I met at the Con's.

I've not had a problem taking photos with the usual Con lighting, I always force my flash off though. I've used a Canon and my usual Panasonic Lumix.

Really good weekend, Gold Pass drinks party was good, room to spread out and we weren't all squashed together. Giles photos were fantastic, the best ever at the Con's and it was great to get them straight away. Sunday night Quiz - awesome fun :-) long may 'Flanigan's Floozies' just about avoid losing spectacularly lol. Hotel, not so great although front of house staff were fine. Can't wait till 8.0

Plus to be honest the whole purpose of the calling out the numbers is so that people shouldn't have to queue up. At the Hub's and Bitten's I've been to I admit I've had to rather loudly say 'excuse me' and wave my pass around. Generally people usually let you through.

Yay, all booked, lovely efficient lady I spoke to. Pity I couldn't pay in full now though, Park Inn's always let me do that which I prefer.

I think (as someone who shows vehicles at military shows and owns lots of army surplus) that their uniforms have been tweaked a bit. I don't know that much about US uniforms other that the Marpat (Marine Pattern Pixxilated) ones which I own a couple of pairs of camo trousers from. There are very specific styles, I know that the USAF had a specific version of Marpat for them! All in all it makes things very difficult people like us who want to Cosplay! I guess it depends on what particular type of BDU you want. Is it the military uniform you're looking for? If so the best places to look would be army surplus and military dealers. US stuff can be pretty hard to get hold of but black battle dress uniform and tac vests can be bought in most army surplus stores. Terri

As far as I know they haven't released the hotel code yet. I'm waiting for it too.
