Hobbit_of_Dorsetshire
Oh my god! Will he "sing" for us at the party - or even better, in the centre ala Brian Blessed???!!!! So many "Shatner" classics... Hey Mr Tambourine Man Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds It Was A Very Good Year ...maybe in the absence of Leonard Nimoy, he could duet with Adam West on... Put A Little Love In Your Heart!!!! It would be hysterical! PS - Well done...I know you been chasing the old goat for a while!

Showmasters Admin showmasters Posted September 16, 2005 Author Showmasters Admin Share Posted September 16, 2005 Huh? Now I am confused. Wasn't he at that German show the same week end? 864841 Bill's work commitments around that weekend meant he couldn't commit to the terms of the deal with Galileo in Germany. We're able to be a little more flexible about Bill's timetable, which means he can come to ours. We've been in touch with Rene at Galileo, and there is no animosity over Bill coming to our show instead of his; we wish him the best of luck with his show that weekend. Queen_Sindel
Of course I understand that you can't say more, thanks for posting at all. And I won't start any wild speculation either - I am not even a Trek fan. I was simply confused because as of now the other show still has him on their website, and a couple of my friends were going there to see him. Guess I better redirect them to C8 now. Mondasant63
After months of speculation we finally get the big one. Just p-lease don't announce Mark Hamill as well otherwise it's going to be 15 denier mask time at my local Bradford & Bingley. As of this moment I want to have Showmaster's children. Guest WaterBoy
I sense star trek nerd queue overkill 864868 At any other time, in any other place, they would be nerds and people would point and laugh, but Middleton Hall is as much a nirvana for them as it is for any other fan of cult film and TV. Guest WaterBoy
Everyone in the hall is a regarded in the real world as a nerd or geek. Mr Shatner is the King of cult Sci-fi. However much you dislike Star Trek nobody can deny the effect he has had. He IS Captian Kirk. The whole star trek format of episode telling a part of a greater saga is something that we still see today in modern cult TV. Even some of the stories can be traced back to a four year mission to explore strange new worlds. Paul
