Pilou Asbaek Appreciation Thread
Starbuck17 replied to Lokinestro's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2017
That was so funny! He was the best part of my day for sure. -
Glad you had a great time! This was my third year crewing and I love it. Making the decision to apply three years ago was one of the best decisions I've made, I have gotten so much out of it. Met some amazing people, gotten to do some great jobs and learnt a great deal!

Lovely guy really talkative and friendly. He recorded a quick message for my mum who is a mega fan and couldn't be there. I put it on Facebook and waited but heard nothing back. I gave her a call and she had been sat nearly in tears watching it over and over again! Hahaha. He made an old woman very happy and gained a new fan in me.

Haha it was so funny when he walked in. All us women grew quite flustered. What is so great about him is that he is a super nice guy as well. I had a photo with him too and he was so lovely. -

Hahaha that was me. Must admit I was a little taken with him. -
I will! Don't feel bad, that shoot was hectic! Loads of fun though : )

I was crewing this area too so I know who you are talking about. I will pass along your comments to her! : )

A change for next year - VQ tickets
Starbuck17 replied to Murph's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2017
In theory this is a good idea but I am not sure it would be logistically possible. If every guest had VT then they would need two crew members with them, one assisting behind the desk. One manning the queue to give out VT's and make sure people are coming up in the right order or in batches. To be honest I just don't think there is enough crew for this. You could say, 'well get more crew' but it isn't that simple. Crew volunteer, they might call in sick at the last minute, or pull out. Also the more crew you have the more expensive it is, they have to eat and sleep and get a little something back. An extra crew member for each guest would add up. -
We use these pens to write on blackboards at work. They look great but they chip and wear very easily on boards and plastic. I would go for the chalk ones as they seem to have a better quality.

Mads Mikkelsen appreciation thread!

Really nice guy, he had time for everyone and in the words of my friend 'aggressively good looking'. -
I was Jim's Guest Assistant on Sunday and I can confirm that there was quite a lot of HOOOOOOoooooo going on through the day. I even took part myself a time or two! He is an absolute jem of a man, super funny and smart. He was fantastic when meeting fans and he was very nice to me. I had a great day with him. Me and my husband kept laughing as we would keep randomly hearing Jim shouting HOOOOoooooooooooooo and a few times we were far away and we heard it. Was epic. Lol. He did it many times His voice was starting to go by the end of Sunday but he still did it every time anyone asked. Such a lovely guy.

So how is everyone this morning?
Starbuck17 replied to Stenun's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2016
I crewed all three days last weekend and going back to real life, well...it sucks. I am suffering from the post con blues and have not caught up on my sleep yet. -
Hope Jason, mods and the crew read this.
