Aragorns_Princess
I was just wondering what everyone did with the things they get signed at signing events? Do you frame them? Keep them in a folder? display them on plaques? Im interested as I feel all the money ive spent is wasted sat in a folder in a cupboard not doing anything. Any suggestions? Keeper
i've got a few framed, cheap little frames out of one of the pound shops but they do the job but money and space are probably gonna determine what exactly you do with them....

Princess83
Photos go on my bedroom wall. DVD covers just go back into the DVD cases.
Victor Van Dort
I frame as many as I can, others go in single plastic wallets on the wall as well (bit of double-sided tape on the back of the wallet & you can change the picture easily). The remainder go in folders, and I swap 'em about now and then. Pride of place on my walls are my multi-signed Fellowship & Two Towers posters signed by the cast, along with House of 1,000 Corpses & Devil's Rejects posters. I have a "Dawn of the Dead" poster digned by the cast, Savini & Romero that's in a frame propped up againsta a wall. I's not on the wall but I can see it every day. I have 2 folders, one for 10x8 sized items, the other for A3 sized items. It is a shame to keep 'em in there, but my walls can only hold so much! I do have a look through the ones in folders every day, as I am still in amazement that I've managed to meet these people from my fave films/TV shows. DVD covers, well, they go back in the cases, but all my "signed" DVD's find their way to the "most watched" shelf. It's always good for a bit of a brag should anyone come round..."Want to watch LOTR?"...."Yeah, let's give it a spin in the old player. Pass me the DVD, it's the one signed by the cast!" Out of interest, how many of you guys get DVD's signed. The emphasis seems to be on 10x8's now, but back in the day (well, a couple of years ago when it all started) there seemed to be a lot more folk getting their DVD's signed. 10x8's obviously look better and you can put 'em on the wall, but DVD's ARE the film in question, so I love getting actors signatures on the covers. I ramble far too much.....I'll let someone else have their say now...
liamsgirl
I just dont have the space at the mo' to have them on the walls, so they are unfortunately mainly in a folder. Ive a couple of signed posters too, that have so far had to remain rolled up. To answer Victor, Ive not had any DVDs signed yet, mainly cos posters are my fave and I cant afford to get everything done that I want to!
TurkFox
Signed DVDs go on the wall. So do my signed photos, in those clear protector things. I've still got a fair bit of space left, too.
liamsgirl
Sorry to sidetrack but I just saw TurkFox's sig. You ever seen Adam Garcia? Saw him in Saturday Night Fever. He was really good! Just had to say! :)
RainbowDisney
Ours go onto plaques. Usually with minutes of getting them. Edited September 9, 2006 by DisneyDude78
leigh_thomas
I have all my 'in person' autographs framed in my room, and all my bought autographs framed on my stairs. I'm running out of space so eventually I’ll just my newer in frames and the older ones will have to go in a folder. Seems a shame but I only have so much space upstairs and don’t think my girlfriend would let me put any downstairs!! I have a James bond poster signed by some of the cast and that’s framed on my bedroom wall as well.

RainbowDisney
Theres a couple, the one I'll use everytime is Tige. American lady well worth getting to know. We keep in touch by email all the time between shows and consider her to be a friend. She's great when it comes to taking care of your needs and your autographs. I wouldn't trust them with anyone else The pic was one I made up myself. Something a bit different if you know what i mean Edited September 9, 2006 by DisneyDude78
liamsgirl
I think its good if you can do something like that, something thats original to you. Im no good at things like that, I guess thats why I like getting posters signed. I shall keep an eye out for her if she is at C10.
RainbowDisney
Oh she'll be there. In her own words ' I'll be at ALL of Jason's Shows' Keep an eye open, she has short blonde hair. Not much to go on I know, but you'll know who I mean when you see the plaque stalls

Aragorns_Princess
I think from all the replies I've considered getting a poster instead but with 4 HP films & 3 LOTR it might be hard to get everyone on all posters. Don't think my boyfriend will let me frame them allon the walls so might have to wait til I have my own place. Don't think I have any dvd's signed but I did get Sean Astin to sign his book
mightymax
For my favourite films I tend to get a poster signed if I think more and more guests will be making these appearances at such conventions just I like the thought of having a collection all in one place appealing. Other guests that I go for I tend to have either the photo supplied by SM or go for my own (which I keep in folders). I was toying about with the idea having DVD covers done but I was worried that they could get damaged and besides I am always borrowing films out (I feel like blockbusters thats the dvd hire shop not the TV programme) so always worried incase I get them back damaged. The only autograph I have got framed is my Bobby Moore autograph.
AmberB
All of mine go in a folder, but I look at them alot and they're on my desk so they aren't just stuck in a cupboard.
C.Parkers-Girl
I have a convention scrapbook (huge photo album) and i keep my autographs in the back of there. I have 3 on display, Orlando Bloom, Sean Bean and one of my CRaig Parker ones but i like to keep them in my folder safe, maybe oneday ill frame them :)

Tegan
Ours go onto plaques. Usually with minutes of getting them. **is tremendously impressed** mine go in the study, so that when people come round they are always really impressed, and i love regaling them with the tales of CM9, so basically i have them where people can see them
rainbowsparkle
Erm, 10 x 8s are in large photo-albums (in a cupboard, oh dear!), books are on the book shelf (well, when I say books, I mean book ) and DVDs are on the DVD shelf. But I do look at them sometimes :)
Bigmick
Most of my 8x10's are now divided into separate ring binders, 2 for all the Stargate ppl, 1 for Star Trek and all the spin offs and 1 for everyone else lol. I've got some of the Stargate ones in frames but there just isn't enough room to display them. I was thinking about getting large frames and putting say six 8x10's in each, Stargate core cast, system lords, Tok'ra, all the Star Trek captains etc, but again it's all down to where the heck to put them. Having them all down the stairs would be a really cool way to show them off, but I could see myself in a crumpled heap at the bottom of the stairs cos I was looking at my piccies and not where I was going ,lmao.
