  1. I'm the slowest, lol! Hope you had a good one dude!
  2. Happy Birthday! Have a great one!
  3. Thanks for all the b-day wishes folks! Had a great one (despite having to do a 15-hour day at work, lol!), and many many thanks to Stevie & Gemma for the awesome card & gift(s). I've been kinda busy lately with many different things (will be up until at least New Year), but I shall be back at a Showmasters con sometime soon. Hope everyone is doing well. As always, much love, Keith
  4. Met QT @ Waterstones today. Arrived at about 11.00am, waited 2 hrs in the queue (he was only signing 150 people's books) and at 13.00 went inside where we were treated to a Q & A which went on for about an hour (hardly anyone asked about "Death Proof" the movie he was promoting). subjects covered included: Kill Bill follow-up opportunities, Inglorious B*stards, and who he thougt they should have cast in Casino Royale (?). After the Q & A, he did a reading of 2 scenes from Death Proof for the audience & proceeded to sign the Death Proof screenplays & Grindhouse books. Since everyone was asking him about Kill Bill, Pulp fiction & Reservior Dogs, I spoke to him about Lucio fulci movies (his "Grindhouse" label bought Fulci's "The Beyond" a few years ago & it was romoured that he was at one point going to remake Fulci's "The Psychic"). He said that a certain scene (will be a spoiler if I reveal it here & people will moan) in Planet Terror is an homage to a notorious scene in Zombie ("Zombie Flesheaters" in the UK). If you want to know what I'm talking about, grab the hardback "Grindhouse" making-of book & look at the back cover. All in all, a top guy, very happy to see everyone, very friendly and talkative. Well worth the time and effort. Anyone else make it to the Waterstones signing?
  5. For anyone who makes it to Victoria Saturday morning & wants to get to Earl's Court by bus, the C1 goes from Victoria to Earls court (according to some kind TFL travel advisor). That's the route I shall be attempting at some unholy hour this Sat morning.
  6. "It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything." -from David Fincher's Fight Club
  7. Sorry I'm a bit late, lol! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
  8. *is late* Happy Birthday Dude! Hope you had a good one!
  9. It's one of the best lineups I've ever seen. However, I won't be able to make CM12 as I'll be in Portsmouth that weekend. Have fun folks!
  10. Happy Birthday Gemma! Have a great one, My finest regards, Keith.
  11. Yep, WLTM for Leathal Weapon series, Predator 2, Saw. Also enjoyed "The Saint of Fort Washington" . Not sure if he does cons though, but would be a cool guest.
  12. It would be quite something if JC was announced for a show. I'd probably ask him if he would ever consider adapting a H.P. Lovecraft tale directly for the screen, as he's an avid fan and HPL is my fave horror author. "In The Mouth of Madness" is the perfect example of Lovecraftian mood on film, even the title is a play on a famous HPL tale "At The Mountains of Madness". I would most likely get my "In The Mouth of Madness" Japenese poster signed, probably a "The Thing" poster too.
  13. Just out of curiosity, what was the point of this thread? What (if anything) did you hope to achieve by insulting another forum member? Enquiring minds need to know. You do strike me as an obsessive type, though. I mean, you joined up a few years ago, think we're all weird, and yet rather than just stop using the forum, you'll keep coming back for more. As one of the above posters has stated: Let. It. Go. Already. Have an enjoyable day reading through all the responses to your thread, though.
  14. Oh yeah. Gotta get my TCM2 photo signed. Hope they have mini 10x8 versions of the movie posters availible ala the Lost Boys one @ CM9, that was great!
  15. Also stars in "The Lurking Fear" with Jeffrey Combs. An adaptation of an H P Lovecraft tale. Will prob get my American VHS signed. Oh yes.
  16. Mr. Deeds- "Like the beard. Abe Lincoln style!" Also, singing in the helicopter..."This is ground control to Major Tom...."
  17. 11th December! Oh well, time enough to save those pennies.
  18. Gotta agree with "choke on 'em!" from DOTD! Also.... Splinter in the eye from Lucio Fulci's "Zombie Flesheaters" (granted, you don't see the character die, but she turns up dead later in the movie). Also, nice throat being torn out sequence from the same movie. Exploding head from opening of Dawn of the Dead (1978) Death of "Joe the plumber" (ironically, more eye-popping fun!) in "The Beyond" Person torn in half in "Demonia" Yes, I've been on a Lucio Fulci bnder lately, lol! Also, anything by Dario Argento (Opera, Tenebrae, Suspiria, etc.) has lashings of great deaths. Gotta agree with the above posters on Jason takes Manhattan and Cigarette Burns.
  19. If this is the same Edward Tudor-Pole from "Quills" (with Geoffrey Rush), then yes, he would be a much appreciated guest...
  20. Incredible guest! A true mistress of the genre! I'll have to get her on my Creepshow posters & Two Evil Eyes DVD! Cheers SM!
  21. She's wonderful, very warm & chatty. Thanks for getting her SM! Keep 'em coming!
  22. Oh yes. Great guest! One to add to my Creepshow posters! Thanks SM!
