I beleive that the show needs to atract new Astronauts that have not been before, every body knows the ones that have been and yes it is nice to meet them again.

We now need for Dave to get some people over the pond that have not been, ideal choices we all know would be Anders/Schmitt/Mattingley/Borman/Collins , so Dave up for the challange.

Any of those would be great but I'd be more than happy if the chap in your signature was announced!

My other thought is the next show will be in the 40th Anniversary year of Apollo 13 (the mission not the film!). How about getting Haise and Lovell back over along with some of the Capcoms and others from mission control.

Great list - and youre probably already aware - but John Rhys Davis and David Soul will be appearing at Collectormania London.

I think Roger Moore and Tom Selleck would be ideal for Autographica.

I was at another event today which had some guest speakers who had flown various bombers in WW2, Sqn. Ldr. Lawrence “Benny†Goodman (Pilot. 617 Sqn), Aubrey Niner and Ronald Clark DFC. All three gave excellent talks and between them took part in some significant actions during the war.

Aubrey Niner was captured and spent a lot of the war in various prison camps including Stalag Luft 3, he gave an excellent account of his experiences as a prisoner. Makes you realise it wasn't all boyish frolics in the camps.

Benny Goodman flew with 617 Squadron (he joined after the Dams raid) but flew a bombing mission against the Tirpitz amongst other high profile targets.

Ron Clark was the pilot of the Phantom of the Ruhr, the Lancaster which I understand is the one now used by the Battle of Britain memorial flight.

All three gentlemen spoke very well and seemed very lively and sprightly. I'm sure they would all be a big hit with the Autographica crowd.

It would be nice to see some Bond stars from the more recent movies, whilst I appreciate that some of the bigger named actors are unlikely to come there are still some interesting characters that should be possible (many of whom are based in Europe rather than the US):

Caterina Murino

Claudio Santamaria

Richard Sammel

Ludger Pistor

Ivana Milicevic (there were engineering works on the trains the last time she appeared)

The harder ones:

Jeffrey Wright

Giancarlo Giannini

Isaach De Bankole

Jesper Christensen (I hear he doesn't like signing and scribbles)

Any of these astronauts would be fantastic plus any cosmonauts!

You may be interested to note that Aircraft Magazine for December 2009 has a nice article about Capatin Eric 'Winkle' Brown, well worth a read! Plus how about the great man again!
