Was a bit worried when a lady down the street said she didn't know if the buses were still running as she hadn't seen any but a minute later one turned up! The snow was so thick in places I had to stop myself from falling ha ha! Jemma maybeee you could do a combination of chiffon and satin for bottom bit? Well I have a very healthy (but not appetising) dinner! A strawberry Activia yoghurt and an apple lol! Yep i chose the satin for the lining the only debate i was having is cos where i ordered the fabric from they have ttwo types of satin one is slightly thicker than the other not much thicker but still its thicker. And the thicker one has the colour champagne where as the thinner one does not but i am gonig with the champagne one even though its slightly thicker and i am in love with the colour/fabric for the top of the dress its perfect so hopefully i can get this done gotta wait till tomorrow to order them cos i get paid tomorrow getting more excited for ET3 jemma silk and satin can get quite expensive if you're buying a lot of it... i suppose it depends where you go though. are you buying the material online? if not go and have a wander in your nearest fabric shop and you can find some cheaper alternatives. aside from that, i vote all chiffon I am buying the fabric online found the perfect colours Not really bothered about the cost of the fabrics lol as long as i get my dress done to how i want it is all i care about typical me Just pricing up my fabrics and i can say the chiffon is the cheapest which is expected the satin is the second most expensive and i am using silk dupion for the top of the dress and that is the most expensive lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
