Betty
The simply brilliant JaneDoe suggested this in the feedback thread: Anyway, can I make a suggestion for next time. Can we have live music? Someone like Bobby Long or Marcus who are both friends of Rob and both wrote songs for the soundtrack. They are extremely popular now amongst fans in the UK and pretty much world wide. In fact a couple of friends went to Bobby's gig in London on Friday night before coming to the con! Seeing as we'd never get Muse LOL, having Bobby, Marcus and Sam (or just one of them!) would be fantastic. I'm sure they'd be up for it (Bobby never refuses a gig, I hear). If you not heard them, you can check out their music on myspace: Bobby: http://www.myspace.com/musicbobbylong Marcus: http://www.myspace.com/marcusfoster Sam: http://www.myspace.com/sambradley06 Being A Mockingbird by Bobby is just the most beautiful song Edited March 5, 2009 by Betty

That is a beautiful song, but what's with all the TALKING in the background??? Some people are just so ignorant at smaller gigs like this & just constantly chat through the misuc. thewhiteladyofrohan
I'd rather have a guest than a live band my point exactly, especially as not everyone attends the parties or can attend the party you could be spending 200 quid, losing a guest and missing the band that replace a guest. sorry but i am totally against wasting the money on it. now if it's a guest who happens to have aband, then thats different but to have them in place of guests no thank you,

Purple_Vamp
I've been to a convention before where one of the guests was in a band and she played for the opening ceremony. Was ok, but the fans just went more nuts than normal.
