Aakerman
Hello everyone I wanted to create a seperate topic from "Schedule of events over the Eternal Twilight weekend". I'm really interested in knowing what you people are thinking about wearing. Personally I intend to wear a raincoat and wellingtons. It's always nice to know what other people are going to wear though, and who knows. Maybe someone out there has a phenomenol idea. So discuss here, share links, photographs, ideas, where do you find inspiration? Etc. Are you going with beach wear, native american or raincoat and wellies? For Prom/Casino Themed Party, go here. For 1901 Chicago Party, go here. Edited August 30, 2008 by Aakerman
JaneDoe
I think the whole wellies, raincoat and La Push Cliff Diving Team t-shirt emsemble is a must for this party...with shorts of course!
Evie_Nitram
I think I might be more tempted with an american indian costume, but will need to give it some thought!

Aakerman
Hm, I migh actually wear that La Push Cliff Diving Team tshirt underneath my raincoat :) I'll look into some other t-shirts similar to it or maybe even make one myself, but it def. has to be something in that direction! JaneDoe
See, now I'm torn. Because I didn't fancy dressing up at all until I saw the themes and now I do I have to weigh up how easy it's going to be to get semi-decent outfits together without breaking the bank. The native american costume would be cool but my first choice would be easier especially if I want to go in big time for the 1901 theme. Then of course there's the prom night which is basically show-off night for the girlies...argh! Decisions, decisions.....how long have we got??? Aakerman
Haha, well there is quite a while until the end of February :) Would be so sweet if some people dressed as native americans, but I feel the same way. I know that I don't have an evening dress at all and I know I want to dress up with SOMETHING for the 1901 theme. So yeah, I landed on the La Push themed tshirt, raincoat and wellies for this one. It's also a bit more relaxed, might be good for the first evening where I won't really know that many :) .. I hope to see some native americans though! pippinweasley
I'm thinking the cliff diving tee or the cullen baseball tee or the team jacob tee (really whichever one I buy) with board shorts and flip flops. Inventive I know . . .
theoden_of_rohan
I'm definitely getting the Cullen Baseball tee when I've got some spare cash
Carlistara
I´m glad there are others who are already starting to pack their bags.. I´ll focus on the prom night, too and still haven´t made up my mind whether I should really take my large suitcase on a 3 day-trip... Sounds ridiculous, but taking into consideration that we all do it for our greatest Vampire family and the fun we´ll have... Who cares... (*Tara will drag a 20kg suitcase from Frankfurt/ Germany to Northampton and back and can´t believe it herself*) Tara
Evie_Nitram
(*Tara will drag a 20kg suitcase from Frankfurt/ Germany to Northampton and back and can´t believe it herself*) Hehehe... I once went to a lord of the rings con in Germany, and took a complete elven gown with me... If I can make that trip, you'll be fine making it the other direction! bewarethepossums
I'd love to be able to dress up as a Native American...but again it's the issue with the money, and I need to buy stuff for the other two costumes. I figure I'll just wear a beachy skirt, some wedges and a shirt-tied-with-a-know over a bikini...or something xD (I went to a beach themed party last November wearing pretty much that, and the cold didn't end up being a problem at all, luckily!)
