Spikesbird
Hi everyone, I was just thinking about what to wear for the photo shoot. I have never been to one before and I have booked for James Marsters. What does everyone else usually wear? I don't want to be over or under dressed! Thanks guys Amanda
A007
Last time I just wore a shirt and jeans.
Moderators DavidB Posted April 29, 2007 Moderators Share Posted April 29, 2007 I don't think many dress up specifically for it unless it's in a costume or something! Generally just casual stuff, whatever you're wearing on the day to go round the event.
Spikesbird
Thanks guys. I didn't want to look out of place! Amanda

Spikesbird
Hmm, then I would really be out of place! Amanda
sagart
For some reason, I've heard that white doesn't come up to well on these photos, maybe it gives too much of a shine or something in the lights.
Charisma
I dont really dress up, just go comfy.

I wore a white costume dress when I had a photoshoot with Miranda Otto at Gmex & it came out really well cause it was with a blue backdrop
Queen_Sindel
Yes, I can second that. I wore white for my photo with Juliet Landau and it came out fine. And that was a tricky shot as the top she wore almost matched the background color.
Kookie22
i say non white suggestion - with the lights, and if a flash is needed (depending on weather) then it will look really bright and could make either one of your skin tones just look a bit blah. Im trying to decide too, i could wear a yellow ts hirt, but i think it might be a bit woah!!!! I like to wear quirky t shirts that guests comment on :-) not sure if charisma is that bothered though :-) Edited April 29, 2007 by Kookie22
surfy_sah
having worked the photo shoots at GMEX last time, can I suggest that you DO NOT wear black or dark blue/navy as the backdrop may well be dark and you'll just blend in we recently had our graduation ball at uni and all the guys were in tux's and the background was black that and the fact the carpet was patterned, it just wasn't good!!! but anyways, yeah, I'd avoid really dark colours! surfy sah xx
Stevie79
I wore black at GMex for both my photoshoots. They both came out fine. The backdrop was blue so I can see where blue should be avoided, but black was fine for me.
surfy_sah
but you don't know that the photographer will use the same blue drape again? I suppose he's used it so far though... who knows!!! perhaps jut avoid BLUE and NAVY BLUE then surfy sah xx

FlameFury
Nice Pic !! Hope the background is not going to be Black as The outfit I'm Wearing on Sat Is Fully Black and 1/2 the outfit is Leather as well. Going to be Getting Some Strange Looks, But that's just me being mad !! Looking forward to CM !!
Stevie79
Hmmm how annoying could that blue backdrop be in the Brandon Routh photoshoot. I'd imagine there will be many wearing Superman t-shirts in that photoshoot Edited April 30, 2007 by Stevie79
Magenta_Jan
I'd have thought that whatever you wear it should be something that you feel comfy in cos if you are feeling unhappy in the outfit it might show and then the photie won't look so good. A007
At C10 for the Maggie photo shoot I wore navy and she wore black, hence on the photo our bodies kinda merge! Will go for something lighter this time.
Kookie22
I wore a navy t shirt on my amber shoot and it was fine, she was wearing a dark green i think. Ill either be wearing a dark grey or yellow t shirt on saturday i think. trying to decide if iw ant to look lary yellow, i wore it to a recording of graham norton and i was very easy to spot!! I dont usually like to stand out :-) It seems some of us have been ok with dark colours and also with light colours, so i'd say perhaps its best we all wear what we're comfy with and we'll look comfy in our photos and it'll all be fab!
