It was an elderly whale, it's common for them to go find somewhere to die when they reach that time.

I thought that it was a baby, 'coz it was only 5m long, they normally grow to about 12m...

 

I saw him, under Battercea Bridge on my way to an audition I had yesterday, I think this was just after he beached. Its a shame that he died, but at least hes not in any pain anymore. Right??

 

Also, this isnt the first time there have been wales in the thames, my dad says there were some a couple hundred years ago, and there ahve also been platapi (sp) and dolphins in the thames before now.

Yeah it was only a baby which had been seperated from its mother.

 

I wouldnt be surprised it there were 3 headed fish in there too though :P
