  1. Clyde - that would be Nick, his Welsh cakes were the main reason I went on Friday!
  2. Samuel was great - I brought Foyle's War along for him rather than Doctor Who and he was very happy to chat about the episode and tell me a couple of stories about the filming of it.
  3. And most importantly a main character in the first ever episode of "Foyle's War". Now if we could only have Michael Kitchen to complement this... Great guest
  4. Nail...head! Unfortunately people don't. Perhaps they should give us a megaphone and let us shout it directly into their ears? Or cattle prods? Just for reference I am the person you will usually see trying to organise the chaos of photoshoots and at least the attendees did a better job of listening than at, say, LFCC. But equally I don't know what the answer is. You can make it as clear as anything to people that they're not going to get through in that session, but getting them to understand that... At least we had fun in the longer session with can-cans, congas, macarenas, twerking and other such things
  5. Great review, and thank you very much for your kind comments about the crew - especially the photoshoot ones. Think it's the first time my name has ever been in a review
  6. Unfortunately, being the person doing the shouting (on Friday and Saturday), it was tough to notice this was happening until someone brought it to my attention - after that though, I did try and make sure everyone was included and tried to walk down the queue to find any current batches. Hope this didn't detract from your experience too much Brendon. Brendon - don't know if you did this as well but I tend to put my hand right up with the number of fingers equalling the batch number showing. Of course this gets a little difficult after 10... By any chance were you the crew member at the afternoon Jeremy Renner shoot? Guilty as charged.....

I did, once I had been told that I couldn't be heard at the back. I also walked up and down the queue to make sure people knew what was happening and when, once I was told. Looks like you've got a job for life then - welcome to the club

  9. Thank you for your kind words sir, and glad you had a good time
  10. It was me that let you through the queue - glad you ended up with such a good pic and hope the rest of your day was fine :)
  11. No idea how to multiquote so I won't but thanks for the positive comments - we do our best - and glad you all had a smooth/efficient time. Now I have to look up some new jokes for next year Stuart/tall guy with glasses/big guy/guy with no voice/guy most likely to be found in a photoshoot area.
  12. Hey Brendon - you're starting to get a fan club This is why photoshoots are fun - well done! Be careful though, or you'll be doing them for ever...
  13. Can I just say the only reason we do this is because crew members have a job to get back to and are only allowed a (very) limited time away from their posts.
  14. My usual request for Michael Kitchen please :)
  15. Excellent write up, well done. Can I say thanks to you on behalf of Luke (and Chris), Phil and myself for the photoshoot comments - we do our best to please wherever we can. Though it has to be said my voice was no longer booming on Sunday evening
  16. Can only speak for Jonathan Pryce, but I'm reasonably sure I didn't give diamond passes priority in his photoshoot queue. Gold yes, but not diamond...
  17. For future reference, the "big guy on photo B" shall henceforth be known as Stuart, Banished or Mug! Other less complimentary names will probably get you banned
  18. Thing is Gravitas, if you give the likes of Luke and Phil red shirts, then you lose them as queue organisers...
  19. As Cosmic says, Phil isn't a member of the forum, but he has seen the comments and would like to thank you all for them
  20. Is Stuart the name of the big blonde man? That's me :) Though I've never been blonde in my life - the light must have been very flattering as it's pure grey! Mr Dazzler - I think you'll find that Luke, Phil and I are handing over our photoshoot areas to Barry to run simultaneously next time
  21. Some general advice about photoshoots: If you have a clash, it's usually better to go to the one that starts first and tell the person organising it that this is the case. It will help if you can show them both tickets to prove it. If one starts before and finishes after the one with which it clashes then it's your call really. To anyone who has a photoshoot which is in two sessions but you can't make the second because of travel arrangements, then again please see the crew member towards the end of the first shoot, show them your travel ticket and they will do their best to feed you in at the end of the first. To anyone in B today (I was the person *organising" the queue outside) I can only apologise for the slight chaos in a couple, but when a guest turns up nearly 20 minutes late for a 30 minute shoot you are a little hamstrung and just do the best you can in the short time you have. That wasn't the case in the afternoon and to the best of my knowledge everyone who turned up when the shoot was on got through.
  22. I definitely remember meeting him at a London show at Earls Court around 3 years ago - was that an EMS rather than LFCC? They all merge into one eventually... edit: yes it was an EMS - October 2011. As you were!
