kingbantam
If I buy a gold pass for me and I am bringing my 10 year old, does he come on a standard ticket or do I have to buy him a gold pass as well?
Showmasters Admin slaycandy Posted July 1, 2012 Showmasters Admin Share Posted July 1, 2012 A child's pass only gets him what is included in the child's ticket - so if you only want him to get entry and come along with you then that is fine. But, if he wants what is included in the gold pass then you would need to buy a gold pass for him. Hope that makes sense!

A 10 year old can either come on a child ticket which does not include any autographs or you can buy an adult ticket for him. If you buy a child ticket he will come with you for everything but will obviously not get any autographs or photos included. Nyssa87
Can I ask how much a photo shoot with David Tennant is going to cost? (trying to work out which package is best for me finance wise lol) Many thanks,

What I'm concerned about is that he won't be able to sit with me in the talks & would have to sit outside on his own for the Friday meet & greet? Obviously he can't have the photos etc that come with the gold pass but if I bought him one (ie a photo) separately could he queue with me or would he again have to be abandoned? marisagrimes
OK, so I am interested in this "exclusive wine reception". I know all the details won't be discussed yet, but will all the guests be attending this or just a few? I am just wondering if it is worth the extra money because I know I want the silver ticket for sure...just trying to justify spending the extra money for the gold ticket. kingbantam
etmuse is a moderator on here, she knows what she's talking about. okay cool thank you. In which case my understanding is, he sits with me, he queues etc with me I just have to buy him any photos/autos he wants separately....but he will still go in the gold queue with me to have it done. Remember you get free wine (or soft drinks) and nibbles too (usually pom bears and haribo - but don't hold us to that!)! I know a few folk who go gold just to get the wine and chat to some of the guests - they don't care about the front row seating! I have no idea what is happening with this event, I just do the websites, but GENERALLY, you get most of the guests there on the Friday night. There have been issues in the past with some guests not arriving until the Saturday morning of the event due to work on the Fri, and sometimes it is traffic, etc, etc, so it is not always ALL of the guests, but you usually get a good selection of the guests. I have just posted and pinned the "How Things Work" thread if you want to check that out for further queries you may have, but to save you here is the bit on groups: Groups: Everyone is in a group based on their ticket number. You are simply split into groups of 30. Your group number will be on your con badge next to your ticket number. Please take note of your group number as when we're calling people over the weekend for autographs and photo shoots we will be calling you by group number. If you find you and a friend are in different groups, then please just let us know and if possible we will sort it out so you can both go in the same group. The child ticket numbers are not important. They do everything based on their parent/guardians ticket number and group.

Haribo Starmix!? I just moved here from the states and I am addicted to that stuff! I am mainly wanting to chat with David Tennant since I have been a huge fan of his for awhile. I am sure you guys will sign on some other amazing guests that I would love to chat up as well.

romulus
If you can only make one day (say sunday) can you specify that when buying the ticket and have all your auto and photo sessions on that day. I know that sometimes you specify a day so to load share the signings and I wouldn't want to miss my chance.

I know that sometimes you specify a day so to load share the signings and I wouldn't want to miss my chance. There's a comments box you can use, but it is a weekend convention, and some guests may only be there for one day. If you can only come for one day, you would obviously miss those guests. SM/ME will help you to get as much as possible on the day you can come. The guests who are there all weekend will be signing and doing photos on Sat and Sun, though. You can join an autograph queue or attend a photo session any time after the group containing your badge number has been called. marisagrimes
I am not sure if this has been asked or not. My computer is wigging out on me and not cooperating enough to sift through all the comments. I was wondering if there will be a way to pay for an additional autograph from David Tennant and if so, about how much? I am already getting one for myself, I just need one for a friend back in the states!

Sometimes they'll go on sale online but often just at the event itself.
