The Big Bang Theory Doctor Who (I know that David Tennant has been to this before but I'm new so I'm putting the request in again lol) NCIS (OMG, please try for Pauley Perrette. I would die from excitement ) Indiana Jones Buffy Charmed The Avengers (a loooooong shot I know lol) Ideally I'd love to meet Harrison Ford, Marc Harmon, Pauley Perrette, David Tennant, Alyson Hannigan, Jim Parsons and Robert Downey Jr

I went to this year's one and it was my first ever comic con. I've already convinced my mates to come back with me for 2013 :) awoopwhoop Just wondering in case people know, how soon before the event do the tickets go on sale? I want to have them bought and ready to go asap and potentially book a hotel room as well in case I decide to dress up :) Can't wait to see who will be attending next year :)

I had a Jewel Staite one and we've both got rosey cheeks but not looking flushed or anything (which is definitely how I felt, I can tell you). I normally HATE photos of myself but I really like this one. I don't think we looked like corpses at all. My friend also had a Jewel Staite one and he looked pretty good in it (although don't tell him I said so lol) I'm hoping my Brian Krause one comes out as good.

This was my first comic con of any kind. I was a little disappointed that Brian Krause's photoshoot got messed around so much, and that the people at the ticket desk seemed to have no idea of what was being organised, where or when. Sort of a "left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing" type of situation really. Having said that, he was so very very lovely when finally got to having the photos taken and was so quick to try and put me at ease (especially when I was getting all tongue-tied lol) with a massive hug, that it all pales really. Just waiting for my photo to be sent out so I can see how tomato or white as a sheet I was haha ignoring the organisation standards, the guests were great and handled SO many people that I have to applaud them. There were also so many great costumes and I really enjoyed seeing the effort people had put into them :) As with any large group of people, you get a number with no concept of queuing or manners but they were given short thrift by myself and a few others so they didn't get far with their tactics (elbows as 20 paces lol). All in all I had a GREAT day, really enjoyed myself and am definitely going to be trying to come back next year (hopefully with a costume this time)

I sent a copy of another photo I had taken on the day. That way I'll be wearing the same top, with the same make up and the same hairstyle lol :) purely because I'm not in possession of distinguishing features other than glasses lol

I keep getting the same error message as other people. Have tried it from three different computers now :S

Thanks to both the moderators for their advice :) I shall continue to go bouncing around the house in excitement now

Go to Brian's first as it finishes before Jewel's. There will be plenty time to get to Jewel's queue after your Brian photo. Heya, thanks for getting back to me. I was just worried as my numbers are 162 for Jewel and 124 for Brian. Worried I'd overlap a little too much.

I'm going to come across as really dumb but I'd rather know what I'm doing. I've got a photoshoot with Jewel Staite and one with Brian Krause. They both sort of fall at the same time. One being starting at 10:40 and one at 10:35. What would be the best thing for me to do to make sure I don't miss out on either?

Can I ask how much a photo shoot with David Tennant is going to cost? (trying to work out which package is best for me finance wise lol) Many thanks,

Tickets lined up, route is planned (and alts in case of trouble) and my friends are under strict instructions to be awake and ready in time or I'm waking them up with a bucket of cold water failing that, it's the cattle prod treatment. Figured I'd give this a go as I want to start going to more cons :) and the forums are normally the best place for the real info :) Ok, so first things first. My name is Nyssa (Doctor who ftw!). It's my honest-to-god real name hehe. If you're not sure how to pronounce it, I always describe it as "like the car, Nissan, without the N". Hope that helps :) I'm a recently turned 25 year old. Work in an office whilst studying. The LFCC will be my first ever convention. It seems to be the perfect one for me to start with as I'm a massive Firefly, Buffy and Charmed fan :) I also love Doctor Who (of course lol), Torchwood and NCIS. I'm a complete comedy fanatic including everything from The Goons, Blackadder, Monty Python, Spaced and Black Books :) My fave films in the world are the Indiana Jones films as I've been a Harrison Ford fan since I was about 5. I've a bit of an unhealthy obsession with David Tennant at the moment as well lol I love dressing up, making cakes, writing, dancing, singing (badly) and...well that's all I can think to say really :) Nice to meet you all :)
