BeatrixKiddo88
I knew the 'Amber and Robert are too expensive' people were complaining for nothing. Cheers for the info SM. comawhite
Much like the other thread that went spam up... commenting on something is far different than complaining. "I don't think I'll be able to afford as many as I'd like to if the prices are too high." "Frak sake, Showmasters are taking the absolute **** with this s***. Frak them up their fraking asses." Example. Edited August 11, 2009 by ComwWhite

Can get what I want now. Don't suppose you have any of the modern Doctor Who cast coming do you? My daughter is a fan might be nice to get an autograph. Fearghas
"still more guests to come biggrin.gif including the free ones wink.gif" free ones? Is that plural? I'm getting my hopes up aren't I Anyways, I'm happy with the prices - I was worried that Ms Benson and Mr Picardo would be overpriced, but they're not! Oh yes, and is Peter Davison appearing both days? He's not got any days on the thing - just clarifying! Thanks! TommyT
free ones? Is that plural? I'm getting my hopes up aren't I Perhaps one on the Saturday and another on the Sunday? commenting on something is far different than complaining. True, most of it was comment and speculation, but I'd have to say that the poster who wrote "when people have less money, buisness's for some reason like to charge MORE" was making an implicit accusation that has turned out to be unfair and groundless in this case. Maybe an apology for that will appear in due course. Edited August 11, 2009 by TommyT

However, I still stand by that comment in general, as it is the case. How many things do you know that have got cheaper recently? My trains to glasgow this year are costing £50 more than the last 3 years ive been to Glasgow (and I dont just mean for CM). Hotels everywhere are putting up prices. Asda, Tesco, morrisons etc are all putting up prices. Earlier this year Canon put the prices up on all of its UK sold camera equipment. People have less money in general this year, yet virtually everywhere is putting prices up still! Edited August 11, 2009 by crippsy_99

People have less money in general this year, yet virtually everywhere is putting prices up still! I'm loathe to derail this thread (perhaps we could start a debate in the general chat section?), but off the top of my head, houses are cheaper, laptops are cheaper, memory cards too, quite a lot of cars are cheaper, I've noticed a lot more cheap CDs and DVDs about... And I think Asda are certified as having cut the price on thousands of items (albeit many only by a penny, but that's hardly an increase). The government National Statistics Office which compiles the prices of many things for measuring inflation indices is noting a lot of stuff is cheaper now than last year. (And let's face it, when it comes to monitoring prices, they are the professionals who do it all day for a living ) Can't argue about the trains though I suspect that what's at least part of the case is when money is tight, people notice price increases more, rather than they are necessarily more prevalent. Back to the original subject, I think the guest prices are very reasonable indeed; hopefully they'll relieve some previous stress.

That's most likely the case. So far it's always been a different guest signing for free on Saturday than on Sunday.

I think it's just getting on my (wonderfully sculpted) chebs that every now and then somethings posted that hints or suggests (or outright says) all comments that don't suck the showmasters boaby are considered bitching... ...though thats a general chat thing

Queen_Sindel
Are the photo shoot prices going to be same as autograph prices that have been posted for each guest? 95 percent of the time yes, but there have been some exceptions to that rule. Anybody any idea when the price list will be updated?? Need to see how much this is all going to cost me!!
