He looked me up and down and then said 'I f***ing hate you mate!' Probably as close as I will ever get to interacting with Ronon Dex rather than Jason Momoa! I was willing his tshirt to keep riding up just so I can have a scan of his lovely torso - it worked a couple of time but was sure he kept seeing me looking! Apart from him being totally gorgeous, he was such an interesting guy and it was pleasure to meet him. Thank you SM/ME for this opportunity! They were both awesome, both chaatted to me during the autograph sessions AND recognised me when I went for the photo shoot on sunday. made my weekend! I only found out about Colin's magic tricks as I was leaving unfortunately, I never saw him at the cocktail party as I wasn't a gold member and I never had a guest encounter with him, had I have known I'd have mentioned it while getting his autograph, will make sure I see some magic if he comes again Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was like 5 people back from that and i must say it was a bloody good magic trick. Colin was one of my fav guests over the weekend. I loved the bendy fork card trick that he did for me in the gold ticket party - i have been showing everyone the card and we can not work out how he did it, all his magic tricks were fab his guest encounter was amusing throughout and his 'i found naked photo's' autograph is one of the best i have ever got in some strange perverse way! Loved seeing the guests out and about and i did feel that the majority mingled more than at the last chevron event - maybe jason and mark have realised we aren't going to bung them in a car and do a runner with them! They were both so great..made my weekend even before it started. ps There were some GE costing £8.00 or less, so if you were willing to miss out on a Joe or Jason talk, it was possible to have a special Guest Encounter with either Alexis or Peter.... CapJaDarin Posted February 24, 2009 Share Posted February 24, 2009 i think my highlight (well biggest impact) was meeting so many fantastic people! being my first official con, was kinda nervous, but everyone was so nice and out going, which made things easier! so thanks you guys! was supposed to be taught all the cheesy dances, but maybe another time! also think the guests were just amazing! tonytck Posted February 25, 2009 Share Posted February 25, 2009 was my 1st con i went to had a right laugh in the gold memebers bar thingy if i go again gotta buy another gold . all the guests was good but colin & peter was my favs i think had sum gr8 laughs with them talking about all sorts. i meet sum very random ppl there that i spent a couple of drunken nites with. yes i got a bit smashed but tis all about havin aa good time maybe i will pop up another random time. Had great next door neighbours....habitualangel...was that you?? lol Colin was amazing his tricks were great! I did enjoy Jason's impression of Elvis at the Gold drinks reception.... He was rather drunk by the time he got round to us! Overall it was a great experience...dare i say it was better than Chevron 7.0 cant wait for Chevron 7.3! So friendly, helpful and professional. They made my con experience so much more pleasurable! I loved the casino even though I lost everything! HEHE! But my biggest highlight? My pic with Joe. I may be a Malcolm fangirlie now! LOL! Seriously. This was the BEST con I've ever been to and I had such fun!
