lee_c00per
Is he actually in TPM or is he someone they got for trading cards and reference photos?
Dannyboy
He seems to be the guard standing next to Amidala when she reveals herself to Boss Nass in the forest. I may be wrong though. Cant be bothered to check the entire movie its so poor!
Mazzic
Well, I'll definitely go through TPM before attending the next ED! I think it has been 5 years or so since I've watched it the last time...
Mazzic
My second movie shot. I know it's kinda blury, but I couldn't get a better shot... (I believe David is on the right side)

Sarah C
There is a pic of David on Official Pix if you search for 'Naboo Footsoldier' I believe
Bounty Hunter
Yep, it's photograph SW-1678. Pity that it's a studio shot and not a still from the film, but still. By the way, a big welcome to our newest forum member SarahSith! :-)
Quinn
Yep, it's photograph SW-1678. Pity that it's a studio shot and not a still from the film, but still. By the way, a big welcome to our newest forum member SarahSith! :-) Funny thing about those 'studio shots.' Dave never went a studio and posed for a shot. Same with the trading card shot. He was walking on his way to set then someobody just stopped him to take a quick shot.... several months later he end up on a trading card. I think some of the studio backgrounds are just put on afterwards from quick snaps.
Dannyboy
Wasnt he in a studio at the time? That would still make it a studio shot! Im just being pedantic! I love these little stories about how Lucasfilm went about their business...
Mazzic
Maybe you should write this down somewhere and ask David about it during the Q&A at ED17...

I think some of the studio backgrounds are just put on afterwards from quick snaps. I have never liked those posed studio shots, they just look tacky! I prefer to have shot of the actor on the set or a still frame direct from the movie. Even those photos of the actor in front of a bluescreen is better than the grey background they use for 1 sheets. Just my personal taste! If the actor at a convention has a choice of posed shots or movie stills I always go for the movie stills. Is this view shared by others?
