  1. If you believe Michael Leader, then you probably also believed that when he was in The Sun telling them about his first line in Eastenders that he was 47 years old too! Michael told me that he didn't know it was him that banged his head until a Star Wars fan wrote in and told him that it was. Maybe that's why you'll never see him at a convention.
  2. AOTC did pickups at Leavesden Studios, which was where TPM was filmed. Mike Savva was at the last ED who was one of the Naboo Guards in the first scene, although I dont recall if he is Australian. No only TPM was at Leavesden, AOTC pick-ups were done at Ealing, e.g the ramp/hand-maiden scene's and the sandpeople's hut where Anakins mother was held, but the very final day of them at Elstree. Although Tom Sanderson did mainly standing in - one of the shots was him instead of Ewan dangling from the robot being dragged above the roof tops.
  3. If you like stand-ins don't forget PAUL CAMPBELL... he certainly worked on the ATOC pick-ups and was supposed to be doubling for Samuel L Jackson. Then of course GAVIN HALE from TPM who is seen in 365 days with Steve Ricard. Convention-guests have their number. Also SANDRINE did some standing in also in the UK for Natalie Portman.
  4. Mikes originally seen as a Naboo Soldier in TPM at the parade scene. Take a look at the site that supplied him to SM
  5. Funny thing about those 'studio shots.' Dave never went a studio and posed for a shot. Same with the trading card shot. He was walking on his way to set then someobody just stopped him to take a quick shot.... several months later he end up on a trading card. I think some of the studio backgrounds are just put on afterwards from quick snaps.
  6. After discussing with the 'convention-guests' site, Mike did some test shots as a Jedi in ROTS infront of blue screen weilding a light sabre... as far as Mike goes 'he hasn't seen himself in ROTS' ...maybe another thing kept back for a future dvd special edition release?
  7. Ahhh, have just seen Adam J Smith (Tundra) on the DVD Web Doc Creatures of Episode III with his characters head off about 4 and a half minutes in being cooled by a wardrobe guy!
  8. Wow - Mike Mungarven was also an original Dr Who Series Dalek and Cyberman and worked on most of the tV Shows Porridge!
  9. It seems Empire Day guests are still all Filming. Problem is when we get their Agents details and write for an autograph - the Agent MIGHT, reluctantly forward our letters on. Sally Sinclair (Brindy Truchong) got a mail recently but the Agent opened HER mail first! And they are afraid that fan mail is going to pee their agents off and they're going to stop giving them work. These guys are getting older now and they fear losing their income.
  10. It turns out, the Empire Day guests are still all working in the Filming Business. They have an added problem that when us fans get hold of their Agents details and write to them their agent MIGHT reluctantly forward our letters onto them, Sally Sinclair has had some mails through but her Agent has always opened HER mail first! Then they are afraid that fan mail is going to pee their agents off and they're going to stop getting them any work. These guys are getting on now and they fear losing their income.
  11. I can vouch for the validity of these Actors, I found a site who are supplying these to showmasters and with a producer of Star Wars being a business partner of SM they have unprecedented access to records which they can verify if these people worked on the films. I believe they have, I can't mention the site but if you search for terms like 'uncredited' you might find it and look at the authenticity page. SM know exactly who they're providing.
  12. I recently found out RotS guests Cellheim Anujo (Dean Mitchell) and Tundra Dowmeia (Adam J Smith) worked on Episode III are based in the UK. It's difficult to get UK RotS Actors because most of RotS was done in OZ! I've only got Christian Simpson in my RotS collection of rare collectables. I found out they're doing there first show at the end of Jan which I can't make but i'd rather see them in person. Any chance they can be at Coll 8?
  13. Don't know if you realise that Ray Andrew was the steadycam operator on The Shining! He's got some amazing stories and was tragically fired after 2 years of working on the movie only 2 weeks before the end of the shoot. He was also the underwater camera assistant on Thunderball and would make a really interesting guest if SM do a horror con! There's photos of him with Kubric on a site we can't publish details about but if you terms like 'sci-fi' and 'uncredited' you might find him.
  14. You have a great site but I think there is a better shot of Peter Roy available! Check out at the end of the battle when Luke is getting out of the X-Wing coming down the ladder. I think Peter is holding the ladder either on the left or the right of the ladder - not sure which. Also I believe Peter has his back to camera and is holding damaged R2D2 but with a dubbed american voice saying something like 'we'll fix him up o.k.'
  15. Speaking of the Christmas Invasion - Adam J Smith who was on the UK shoots as Tundra Dowmeia in Revenge of the Sith had a small part as a Government Aide/Zombie in the David Tenant episode. If he was a guest I could get the RotS shot signed of him with Cellheim Anujo and a Dr Who shot signed too! 2 Autographs from one convention guest!
  16. You'll find he's still filming possibly if u search for terms like Film Extras and Network on google.
  17. You can always check my site for complete listings of shows, since this board does not allow for posting details of other shows here. 907818[/snapback] Thank you very much
  18. I CHECKED THIS OUT MYSELF AND IT TURNS OUT THE WEBSITE THAT SUPPLIED THESE GUYS KNOW THEM ALL ON A PERSONAL LEVEL FOR YEARS - THEY NEVER TAKE ANYONE ON WHERE THERE IS ANY DOUBT... i.e THERE'S 2 PEOPLE CLAIMING TO BE THE STORMTROOPER WHO BUMPS HIS HEAD ON THE LOW DOOR IN ANH, THE WEBSITE DIDN'T TAKE EITHER OF THEM ON BECAUSE THEY'D RATHER BE ACCURATE
  19. I'd heard Cellheim Anujo (Dean Mitchell) and Tundra Dowmeia (Adam J Smith) were doing a convention soon - wanna get my double shot of them signed together but can't find them.... are they coming to this one?
  20. With Star Was being around for 30yrs I like like to get the uncommon guests: Any Chance I can get my official joint shot signed of Cellheim Anujo - (Dean Mitchell) and Tundra Dowmeia (Adam J Smith)
