Why is it now a good sign? If David cancelled, then I would agree. And that is with no disrespect to Jeremy. I think you mean why is it not a good sign. I was thinking of guest numbers. Oopsie on the typo And there are 11 guests at a full weekend convention. That is a lot.

When they have put pen to paper basically. It could very well be a delay in the contract being signed at the guest end. It could be one of many things. As is the standard reply, and the only reply really, they will be announced when the contract is signed and in the hands of the organisers. Only then do they know that the guest has committed to appearing subject to work that may come up.

In times past when Showmasters ran far fewer events then announcements were never really that much of an issue as they only had 1 or 2 dates to book guests for with shows like LFCC and CM etc. But, as was mentioned a while back, in order to grow and getter more guests considered as BIG or HEADLINERS, then Showmasters had to offer more dates. So, with expansion into Weekend Conventions as well as signing events, you may find that a guest could be available for one weekend but not the one after or before. I think the way SM/ME have expanded their schedule has inadvertantly left themselves open to people who want this guest or that guest moaning when they cannot get them for the one event that person can go to. It is unfortunate, but they have been getting guests that were one time only to come back. That in itself is a great sign. Rarely have SM/ME disappointed.

It is quite some time until the event in convention time and Jason has said many times before that photo shoots etc are negotiated for where possible. It all comes down to if it is possible. It is not as easy as asking the two of them to do it and then announcing it. It has to be factored into the event itself, and paperwork has to be done to make it all official, even more so if the people concerned are asked after their original signing up for the event. Once the paperwork is done it has to be looked over by agents and the guests themselves, which takes time. So, as was mentioned by Jason the other night, usually SM/ME talk it over and sort it. But this event has other people involved and thus more time to get things done. Showmasters have been doing this for many years and would know that they may well be a sizeable request for this photoshoot and others. They also say that things can be announced right up to the last minute. Be patient, they would have seen or will see this thread at some point.

I am wondering if this is a way to introduce lesser known members of the Avengers featured in comic books without having to do so in a film. That way, Joss can bring them in to the 2nd Avengers film without a back story etc.

Indeed. It seems this may have been a follow on from heart bypass surgery he recently had. No official details yet as still very recent.

Reuters News Agency are reporting that Neil Armstrong has passed away at the age of 82. No further details given as of yet. Rest In Peace Mr Armstrong.

I would say highly unlikely as her most recent statement regarding her medical condition, both physical and mental following the miscarriage she so sadly suffered this year, pointed towards time away from the spotlight. Robbie E has a great on screen personality. I think he will be a great fan friendly guest. Reports from non televised TNA Impact House Shows are that he is very very good with the fans with signing, photos etc. Robbie T. is home grown. Every tour he has been on in the UK he has had tremendous pops from the crowd, even when a heel.
