  3. Wonder how much of it will boil down to common sense and helpful/easy going of the area owners/organisers are, as anyone local who followed either the basketball & ice hockey teams can tell you
  4. Here's mine, also didn't it used be hell lot easier to re-arrange photos on facebook? https://www.facebook.com/tom.milburn.129/media_set?set=a.10153334156825447.1073741828.789870446&type=3
  5. Well, here we are:- http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-24467337 9 epsiodes found. Episodes 2, 4,5 & 6 of The Web Planet and 1,2,4,5 & 6 The Enemy of the World Certainly better than a kick in the nuts!!
  6. I went to 3 talks and thought he did well and is certainly someone who's been needed as past talks have almost died a death, Tom Sizemore at summer LFCC springs to mind. Helps get things started and steps in if there's a lack of questions and trys get the crowd going at the start and did a fine job. However, he may want be touch careful that he doesn't get into trouble with his language in future, describing himself as a slut when promoting the PS3 game before the Dr Who talk on Saturday, praised a lad for standing up to ask a question despite his clear nerves but then calling him a s**t for doing well and also some language he used in the Ladies of Sci-fi talk which even Natasha Henstridge pointed out saying children present. He's probably more than bit right that the kids probably know more foul and abusive language than him (and me for that matter) but may want watch it in case someone takes offence and put's a complaint in, bound be someone somewhere.
  7. Mark Lewis Jones - said knew him best for 55 Degrees North as was filmed back hyem and asked did he have fun doing it. Carol Ann Ford - remembered me from the photoshoot due to my Sea Shanties t-shirt and asked if i was going to sing one, if I'am in a band/could sing. Said only in the shower and if I tried sing at the show I'd get done for making everyone deaf!! William Russell - mentioned that last time saw him randomly picked photo from Adventures of Lancelot and that Christmas got the dvd box as a present and whilst some episodes have dated more than others really enjoyed them and even that sat down with me mam who knows him better for that than Dr.Who and w eboth enjoyed seeing to which taken a little back and thanked me for saying that and it meant alot to him me saying that. True gent! Fernanda Marlowe - pleasant lady who was happy talk bout Cpl.Bell being a last minute character. Kate O'Mara - got her to sign my Hammer Glamour on her page then posed pic over table where she said I'd have do most the leaning as she'd a bad back Julian Glover - due large queue just kept it to asking him sign his character name under his sig.on my mini Game of Thrones Throne pic (probably have to retire that soon might see if Iain Glen can sign it then Lena Heady when/if she returns). Sam Jones - brieft mention about "Ted 2" andtold him I'd been in the joint photo shoot queue for him and Brian Blessed and asked if he'd worked with anyone louder/over the top, replied John Rhys Davies and both him and the crew member seemed like my suggestion of getting Brian, John, Tim Curry, Simon Callow & Alan Rickman at his Sheriff of Nottingham/Hans Gruber best together in same film to see who'd win Joanna Cassidy - asked if they'd be script problems on Ghosts of Mars, namely a lack of a one to which she leaned back laughed and clapped. Then asked me what did I think? Well IF there was one it was either done on bag of cig packet or a beer mat and lets set a film on Mars oh yeah we'll do it in desert and then paint it red! Lovely lady. Dick Mills - had pleasant chat about the number of events he's attended so far this year and looking forward to the last one next month where he'll have a wee break afterwards, how he's been lucky when driving on the M25 whilst his daughter hasn't. Absolute gent. Karen Gledhill - had enjoyed the day and was looking forward to future events. Andrew Hayden Smith - asked how his day been and things been ticking over nicely. Asked where my accent was from told where bouts in Newcastle and which hospital with him replying he's a QE hosptial baby. Asked if coming out gay had affected way people dealt with him or affected his career which he said hasn't. Told him how I'll know him best for Byker Grove and more so for CBBC with Kate Heavenor whom he recalled being fun to work with. Lexa Doig - looking at her photos said only really knew her for Jason X and her crew member showed me the one they had to which I just said, 'Nah, I'll tek this one as does he more justice (one of her with lab coat on from Stargate. Managed put my foot in it by saying American when she's actually Canadian - wooooooooooops!! To which said please accept my sincerest apologies. Natasha Henstridge - lovely lady who 'defended' Ghosts of Mars as being academy worthy! Had chat about how both her characters in Species & GoM were strong women (and in case GoM a responsible role) and not just glorified secretaries like Uhura. Which she said doesn't know who she is as not seen Star Trek, that's blasphemy for some people isn't it? Also went 'yes, good and great big smile,' after I said women are always right even when they're wrong but they're never wrong. Paul McGann - went up to him at end and told him met him at an EMS where said I enjoyed his role in The Three Musketeers and he'd challenged me to pot his other appearance. Found it told him so and described it and he went 'wey', shook my hand, congratulated me and said you win a prize.........no idea what the prize is but you've won it! Also saw Lee Bradley and Henry Davies for a chat and got Henry do a drawing of Alf Tupper Tough of the Track for me.
  8. Had 3 photoshoots which is the most done in one show:- Brian 'The Bearded Wonder Blessed & Same Jones - Brian would keep shouting 'GORDON'S ALIVE' to cheers but would complain not loud enough so got the crowd buzzing (if not already). Natasha Henstridge - no problems Carol Ann Ford - did she REALLY want to do the shoot???? Just with the chairs being apart meant everyone having lean over so felt there was a distance between her and everyone who had their pic with her which does show in the pic. Not saying she should've been dishing out hugs or anything like that but did make things feel formal or cold even.
  9. I did notice that there seemed to be a larger number of no posed photo signs up on the Sunday, 12-14 out of 35 film/tv/wrestlers. Think one or two had done posed pics the day before, some had them all weekend. With some of the guests thought fairly obvious it would be no posed pics from the off ie Noel Clarke. Whilst overall I did enjoy the show there was a sense of weirdness in how quiet it got on Saturday bout 3 or half-3, would say it reached it's peak by 1 and the Sunday touch busier but also became quiet well before end of the show. Thanks and well done to the female crew member who was organising the photo shot queue for Brian Blessed & Sam Jones, Carol Ann Ford. If hadn't heard her making sure people had right tickets I might've missed my pic with Carol altogether.
  10. Cracking wee collection you've got. Glad was able see it this time as failed get back to it in summer.
  11. Thought she would've been busier than she seemed but did seem be signing alot of pre-orders. Met her on Sunday after attending the Ladies of Sci-fi talk and she 'defended' Ghosts of Mars saying it was academy worthy after I'd said Joanna Cassidy had laughed at my suggestion that it had suffered from script problems, namely the lack of a one or if it did have one it been written on back of a beer mat Also brought one the answers in the Q&A about strong women in roles how she got kick-backside in GoM, her saying about the society there being ran by women and then laughed and agreed when I said about women always being right even when they're wrong but they're never wrong. Asked the sterotypical question of if she'd enjoyed the weekend which she smiled saying been great. As she wasn't doing posed photos asked if alright just take one of her sign behind her on the wall and she said just take one of her holding my pic and the sign to make it the whole package. She's welcome back ANYTIME!!
  12. Didn't meet her but did attend the Ladies of Sci-fi talk which was great. The interaction between Margot, Joanna and Natasha came across really well and is easily one best talks I've attended.
  13. Ideally CM:MK20 but it not then it'll be Newcastle.
  14. Well I got a big surprise once got to Kings X yesterday. Well, bog shock really, somehow managed to totally *beep* the date up for travelling back on my rickets and had pay 45quid for new ones!!
  15. Unaware of it ever having held a non-sport/gig event before but would imagine that depending on number of guests they'd either most of them be in a line against the 'back' (where the music stage usually is) or something similar to LFCC when at Earl's Court where it's a 'wall' with guests either side and the bigger guests in their own area further towards the back,
  16. Glasgow ones seem to have about 12-15 guests per show. So a lot smaller compared to MK & London shows.
  17. I sense this may be another Throne harrasment from us xD 'Throne harassment'? Why good sir, whatever could you mean? I heard reports of this, also heard that the throne is still attending weekly therapy sessions because of it! Reports of bizarre goings on such as this, by any chance? Thats for not joining the Darkside! That throne saw quite a few... interesting poses in Cardiff... *Ahem* We were just 'educating' people and teaching them that a throne can be used for for more than just being sat on! Unfortunately, I am sure poor Ludo will suffer some kind of similar fate. He needs educating too! Aye that's it. You MONSTERS!!!!! Uh-oh, just seen that the throne is back.....its recovery is going be set back years if you go to it!!
